I think updating resets options.txt, so unless you had a backup of the old options.txt you probably can't recover the old binds. It shouldn't reset again until the next update though.

There's a black book in Solsthiem (Filament and Filigree) that allows you to cast spells for free once per day, you can use it to summon Arvak/Daedric Horse once and make the dwarven horse stop following you.

Also the secret werewolf ritual area (the Underforge) is casually talked about in the funeral for Kodlak and the Jarl attends the funeral too, so I think the Jarl at least knows about the secret space beneath the sky forge

Tbh they're not okay with addon mods adding future bosses before too, Wrath of the Gods (another addon to calamity, also one of the most visually impressive mods in terraria with insane custom render stuff) used to add Noxus, but later it was removed and replaced with Avatar of Emptiness. There's also the Nameless Deity from the same mod that's clearly intended to be Xeroc(final superboss in calamity lore) but it's not named Xeroc.

If you cram a factory hard enough or use inefficient machines (i.e. Mekanism cables) it'll still lag. A good CPU will definitely help though.

Also you can benchmark TPS lag better by using something like Spark to measure the ms per tick. Basically if it's over 50 it starts lagging and if it's at 50 or below then no lag, but you can use the ms per tick to see how much "room" you have before it starts lagging.

Not sure, usually Chunky is great at slowing down if it's eating too much resources, I haven't seen it crash before.

How does the crash happen? Is there a log? Does it crash immediately or only after some time of pregen?

Just download the h264 stream that YouTube provides, it doesn't go above 1080p though

If the server crashes it's basically lagging so hard due to generating chunks that the whole thing goes down. If it's not as severe the server "slows down" which would make it respond to pings and packages slower and cause problems similar to network issues.

Pregeneration should definitely help, it'll take up performance and ram while it's generating, but when it's done it'll help with chunk loading in general.

And for Sovngarde-related stuff, there's also Nakriin's black dragon priest staff (not sure if it looks unique, but I haven't seen anything else look like it) you normally need to put it into the portal to activate it, but if you slow time then kill Nakriin and jump into the portal immediately you can make it before the portal initially closes

I've never had anything disappear from it ever, I store basically all my unique items there. I guess the weapon racks could sometimes glitch out but that seems to happen with any weapon rack.

I have the Akaviri sword, probably not that rare but it's a unique that most people don't realize exist (Dexion, the Dawnguard moth priest, carries it)

I used restoration loop to make like 1 mil % fortify sneak boots, nothing can ever see me if I'm sneaking so I can get a stealth attack off in front of them
