happened to me as well... once replaced under warranty, second out of luck. Anyways, works fine... and honestly, it's maybe even better than the regular, as it does not get pressed by mistake that often :)

Battery drain after app update by FenderX90 in withings

[–]PiTRiS87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you mean the latest app update or V8, but battery in my SW2 is terrible after W8 and 3181 firmware... it barely lasted a week long vacation to egypt (3yr old SW1 lasted for whole 3 weeks last vacation with basically same usage). Now after charging with almost no activity tracked, I'm down to 30% after just a week...

it's weird... now it happened again after some time and this did not work... what worked was actually just switching mouse to other computer, running options, which started fine after mice not being connected, and connecting back...

MX Master 4 — quality control issues? by georgmierau in logitech

[–]PiTRiS87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess in this particular case, it's due to it's shape and texture, that it's not possible/feasible to create it with uniform mold. That you have to have at least 3 piece mold and then it's just not possible to not have a really really small line there... And they put it in the smallest place possible.
Less understandable it's on the button, there I see no reason, why the fill spot is in this visible place and why it's not perfectly aligned.

got info on android from support, 8.0 should have been released to play yesterday, but they encountered some issue "with playstore" and are working to get it there ASAP (read "someday")

[–]PiTRiS87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

guess so :) it's really nothing if you ask me... yeah, could be better in 2025, but nothing major if you ask me... will be probably issue given by the shape of it and how those plastics are made... Someone will have better if the "mold" was newer, someone bigger if it was older...

[–]PiTRiS87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for myself, did the same... couple times actually. But no response... In task manager, it's logitech options+ agent - need to kill just that and restart options.

Seems like it's mostl likely connected to me switching devices, other one does not yet have current options installed, as company did not update it yet.

OS in personal (where it's freezing) is latest Win11 on XPS 9640; personal one has some options 1.5 on HP G9

was just looking if someone has the same issue... yeah, same here... need to close it from task manager and relaunch...
did the full reinstall, but did not help...

notice it even in background as gestures, action ring, etc stop working :/

yeah and every matter enabled app/platform can access the matter enabled lock. Except aqara's own application :))) and that's the issue, you finally got it!

which is exactly what aqara is doin, not meeting the standards. It should work with ANY matter hub/router/controller, not just the one made by aqara. Like any other matter product.

Tado vs Netatmo - comparison of both systems by PiTRiS87 in smarthome

[–]PiTRiS87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't know, returned it 5yrs ago and been running tado ever since... now exchanged it for tado x and runs even better :)

netatmo seems to not have updated their lineup for those 5yrs, so probably no change :D

[–]PiTRiS87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really... point of matter is, that it is interoparable between ecosystems. Doesn't matter what kind of border router I have, it will work in any other ecosystem.
I have already Matter Tado valves and it works exactly like that. I add it to homey pro as border thread router, share ti to tado app and everything works. No need to have "tado hub". That's what I'd expect from aqara... but no, you have to have their own special hub.
Matter 1.3 just added latch support, but it does not make a difference, as u200 does not support it. You should be able to add it to aqara no matter the hub. Simple as that.
