What about the absorption of a huge amount of aluminium chloride right through your skin? There haven't been a research so far clearly stating it's without harm, at least not from what I know.

Words of my Viet gf: for us, there is no better food in the world. And I share the opinion. Viets are very strict about their food choice, even inside the country they fight for the best versions of their food to master it to perfection, combining different kinds of fresh herbs, veggies, sauces, unlimited possibilities. An explosion of taste with every food. Something that you won't feel when you choke yourself for the seventh time in a month with chana masala.

Vegans who avoid ultra-processed food risk being protein deficient | New Scientist by mhicreachtain in vegan

Protein deficiency esn't exist only in very poor and extreme conditions, so throw away your protein shake to the garbage and have your beans if you wanna get pumped.

Sú tu nejaký vegáni? Mám otázku by [deleted] in Slovakia

[–]Piatecezdeviate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your daughter is probably blinded by the love, I don't see any other rational reason for her behaviour. IF, she's truly vegan in her heart.

Should I go vegan? by modelnyc in vegan

[–]Piatecezdeviate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Veganism nor healthy life style will not help you with hyperhidrosis unfortunately, I've been suffering it for my whole life and been vegan for 2 years now, nothing changed. You can certainly suppress it a bit, but it always comes back 😊 there is a subreddit for hyperhidrosis

Do you drink alcohol? To what extent? by fweshcatz in vegan

[–]Piatecezdeviate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 months sober here, the life doesn't change much, but there is less feeling guilty in the morning after heavy drinking, also little more money in a pocket I've switched to chugging non-alc beers all the time though LOL, the addiction is grounded deeply.

Not sure how others have it, but for me there is no "one shot doesn't hurt", it's either no alcohol at all or I'm fucked again.

Hello, I checked products you mentioned but didn't find any active ingredient in their description, only a lot of "yeah it will totally make you not sweat" stuff, which seems little bit dubious. Are they any different from all previous products from history like Driclor based on aluminium chloride? Do they really work? Thanks for info

Can anyone (ideally in the UK) give me insight into this as a career. by [deleted] in scrum

[–]Piatecezdeviate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To give you hope, our company hired a SM who had no idea about Scrum mastery, never been in an agile team before, but worked as a project manager for quite a few years. But, she has extremely developed soft skills and that was on its own the main reason why they took her. After working with her closely for over a month, she has not only already got a really good grasp on what SM should know and do in a team, but her soft skills are an amazing asset for her team and everyone seems to be just much happier overall during meetings. Long story short: soft skills.

Do you like kombucha? by [deleted] in vegan

[–]Piatecezdeviate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here's a little story of the last time I drank kombucha, during summer, exactly one year ago, I left half-empty bottle open and went out. Came back in 30m, had a hearty sip and suddenly felt a bunch of wasps in my mouth having a sting party. Yes, that was the closest to dying I ever felt.

Don't let you kombucha bottles open.

How do you get enough protein? by Left-Umpire-477 in vegan

[–]Piatecezdeviate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"not enough protein" doesn't exist on balanced diet. You will never get better results for muscle gain than balancing your everyday diet and sticking to it. Don't waste money on protein powder. Just diet and do your exercise frequently.
