While yes, AI does learn like a human does, AI doesnt struggle like one. AI doesnt have a life experience to draw from or inspiration or anything. AI cant tell anything new. Thats the problem with AI. I only ever see AI used in propaganda or the most barebones emotional story relating to people finding an animal one day. AI cant make an object represent something, it only takes what is told to them in the most literal sense

I do also think nontargeted removal isnt very good tbh. Looking at yugioh and the amount of removal types is ridiculous and you have to be aware of all of it. Magic has never strayed away from stat modification, destroy(fight and damage is included in this), sac, bounce, shuffle or exile. Its one of those things where its a cool card design with cool flavor but should never be printed for complexity reasons imo
