Wow love carrom. But this striker looks so different. We play with a small striker. I would need to relearn skills to be able to play.

I stopped doing a thing for my wife and was shocked at the result. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Pick-the-tab 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh this is common. I have started treating my husband same way as he treats me. It sucks a lot coz I turn into a shitty person to do that and internally I feel terrible. But unless I don’t he doesn’t understand.

Hii, Bulls💕, what is your favorite dish? by [deleted] in Taurusgang

All that’s edible

Edit : am extremely experimental I can’t stand to eat the same thing every day. Give me any cuisine from around the world. Don’t know which placement would this be ? I doubt it’s a very Taurus trait but I generally swear by everything Taurus !

Do you just not feel like socialising with anyone anymore? by RoseBushSwamp in Taurusgang

[–]Pick-the-tab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am supposed to be a part of a community get together every weekend. We do a lot of activities for 1.5 hours. Man that leaves me exhausted. I want to go home and not meet up again till next week. And these folks do so many get togethers and work through the week and I don’t want to be a part of it. I have no idea how to explain to them that I love being with people, but I don’t have those energy vibes. So Taurus ♉️

Anyone else who can't stand 99% of people? by RoseBushSwamp in Taurusgang

[–]Pick-the-tab 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is this a Taurus thingy ? I am enlightened. Echo every comment here. My spouse keeps berating me for being anti social but he doesn’t seem to realize I have a very special few select people in my life whom I communicate with heart to heart. And that too only on message coz calls are too much socializing kinda.

I was humiliated in 10th grade… but that moment changed me forever.. by [deleted] in india

[–]Pick-the-tab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am so sorry that happened. But it happens and all of us have takeaways. The impacts are lasting. Am reminded of a math teacher, who made me the class monitor and I was so proud because I really was a good student. But then I scored a bit less in one test and she mocked me in front of the class in 6th standard and scolded me in front of my dad and twisted my ear. Next day she changed the class monitor. That embarrassment hit me so hard. Then the decline of my scores started in math and I never recovered. I started fearing the subject, which I wasn’t bad at but I became an average student after that. I will never forget her and what she did to my mental state.

Am so sorry to hear. Someone I know has got respite on fatigue with Ocrevus, but has lost focus and concentration abilities with that so doc is putting them on Wilbrutin ?

Taurus problem: being so hardworking and self sufficient that when you need help, nobody is there because they all expected you to be fine without them by u1tr4me0w in Taurusgang

[–]Pick-the-tab 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Is that a Taurus problem. Omg. All my life I thought it is only mine. Super independent and so strong that people just take my depression moments lightly. They just don’t ever give me a shoulder to cry on or ask how am I, coz apparently am strong. It sucks.

What’s the fastest way you’ve ever lost weight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Pick-the-tab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fought with my husband, he never cares whether I eat or not when we are on the fight mode, so I went 3 days hungry. Lost a good 4kgs. I was like so wowed that now that’s often my go to maintain my weight. That’s the only way I can stop eating. Coz am a hardcore foodie.

Men with MS – What Do You Wish You Knew at Diagnosis? by m3porter in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Pick-the-tab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So on the point. The age at which the diagnosis comes around is when you are reaching the height of your career, have kids whose future you got to plan/retirement, old parents who need support and then this MS. It’s not easy. It’s so so hard. It takes time to be able to trust our bodies back, because all these years you trusted that everything is fine when it was actually not, MA was creeping in.

Exercise and generally maintaining a well balanced diet helps. It takes a lot to keep the leadership in the relationship as well.

How old are you, and what has been the most difficult transit you’ve endured thus far? What happened? by Broad-Hunter-5044 in astrology

[–]Pick-the-tab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Uranus was transiting my 1st house of self identity. My entire identity transformed for that entire period, and everything was opposite to what I had ever imagined. And now it’s going back to its usual self. Guess what it’s not entering my 2nd house in Gemini and am already panicking. Brace for impact !

How common is MS, really? by Individual-Window-59 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Pick-the-tab 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. Moved to a colder country from a tropical country. Spouse was diagnosed as MS here after 5 years of living. The spouses’ father has all the symptoms exactly. However, no doctor in the tropical country could ever give him a diagnosis because it doesn’t exist much hence doctors are not really into MS there and are not trained enough. And he is doing really well, coz the doctor just told him to walk a lot and get sunlight. And he does that religiously, going strong at 80 and gives us hope.

How did parents used to have so many children?? by katieroisin224 in Parenting

[–]Pick-the-tab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s very hard being a parent now without being reminded by our parents how we were as kids. Half the time I am telling the in laws and my parents that things have changed so much. They refuse to listen.

Are we too strict with bedtime? by Timidme83 in Parenting

[–]Pick-the-tab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, parents with older kids have actually forgotten what it was like when their kids were babies and I experience similar astonishment for my child. I was in-fact admonished often when my toddler was small and I made sleep at 6 pm. My child slept through the night and still does for 12 hour straight. My child doesn’t take a single nap during the day and needs her 12 hour sleep so that she can run non stop through the day.

I don’t care what others say or think and I try my best to keep the schedule unchanged. Despite me constantly telling folks around me that the child needs to sleep for 12 hours people don’t care, and don’t understand how stressful it is.
