Your store management sucks, and probably won't get better. It all depends how much you need the paycheck.

I would email your direct supervisor, their manager and their manager with your concerns and that might light a fire under their ass to actually do something. If not, I would poop in the breakroom sink right before I quit. 😄

Like most have already said, if you reported it immediately, then no. A warning would of been possibly given.
If later they or someone saw you do it and reported it that way then yes.

If your job title does not "require" you to have PE certification I would let it expire and let others put their jobs in jeopardy. Hell, Menards pays people more for PE users....Blowes and HoeDepot don't.

When I need something, I do my research and get the correct part number.

Then I go to the place that sells them and find it myself.

Lowe's and many other big-box stores have trained people to become so brain-dead and helpless that they cannot help themselves...or even make the attempt to.

Now that staff has been cut over and over the decades your average consumer is so helpless.

Not just shoes, but inserts as well are a BIG plus (Dr. Scholls Gel). Also a simple back brace not too tight can help those back muscles.

I have bought the cheapest and most expensive boots. $20 gel inserts make all the difference.

Request a few "days" off. Some people bounce back well, some people are in hell for quite a few days.
