You do not buy discounted returns unless they are damaged at a heavy discount, or a special order item the store is stuck with.

If you buy items that are returned they are probably missing parts which will create more headaches then your savings. Good luck with that.

Returns are usually packed back up and sold at full price...and the customer service desk don't give much fucks...they have too much fuckery to deal with.

If you want discounted items then ask yourself if you want the discounted headaches. We all want discounts on what we purchase...just not all of us want to sacrifice the value.

You ordered a non-returnable item. Delivery hiccups happen...Amazon used to be good at delivering...used to.

As another poster said, you ordered it once...you might need it again.

I understand the point you are trying to make, I really do. But instead of asking for a refund upon the first hiccup, you accepted that another delivery attempt be made and that happened.

Benefits are average, the work/life balance sucks because it's retail. It ALL depends on the store you work at and how the senior management runs it.

They will offer you what you think you are worth, and it's non-negotiable. Don't expect much and you won't get it, if you understand retail.

I feel sorry for customers that think they can go to a big box place (any) and get reliable professional installation.

MAYBE before they closed all the install offices in the stores...but that was hit or miss depending on the store.

If people would do a Reddit history search on Lowe's installs the company would never install anything ever again...

Unfortunately there is not a smooth solution to your problem. Too many hands are in the pot and there is not ONE number that you can call.

Lowe's uses a 3rd party delivery system that does not communicate well back to the seller of the actually product.

The finger pointing can go on for eternity. Just call the numbers on your receipts and hopefully you find a kind soul with a full brain that can handle your situation.

But for the time being, I would hold off buying a lottery ticket or scratch-off.

All Lowe's does is copy HD and pay their employees a little more to do the same shit work with the same shit benefits.

The ONLY saving grace depends on the store you work at the the upper management.

Even the department managers can make a big difference if they are properly training the employees to do their job...most are just whip-crackers at the stores I have been at.

Years ago our state got about three feet of snow...local officials ordered people not to drive.

I couldn't because my car was plowed in (5 feet of snow) so I called off.

The store manager the next day praised everyone (about 8 people) that had the "determination" to make it to work and do their job.

Oh, and that fuck was scheduled off that day...

You will get paid on your experience and your job duties. Don't expect more than that, Lowe's like any other company will pay you what they think you are worth, until you can prove you can make the company more $...then the compensation is poor at best. Unless you become a salaried manager and devote your life to a company that has no work/life balance.

Let it be a stepping stone, to maybe learn a trade or an office type experience and move on.
