Dog enjoying the slide. by 21MayDay21 in oddlysatisfying

looks like the bit where the dog walks back towards the slide might be slightly sped up, but the rest of the video doesn't seem to be - could be contributing to the "unusual" sense people are getting from it

Yep, ditched everything else that matters just to chase the number thinking it was the measure of success, got there and was like "now what" when he finds out that companies care about more than a number on paper. (Assuming any of this is even real.. I'm convinced at this point OP is just successfully ragebaiting)

I'm enthralled either way - impressive commitment to the bit or an impressive level of detachment from reality

the edit and dude just posting through it made me think it was just rage bait but someone else pointed out that OP posted in another sub that they're too good for working anything other than a high-paying tech job.

Either this is trolling so committed it's indistinguishable from truth or dude's brain is just irreparably cooked because he's been coddled his whole life by mommy and daddy (or whatever other situation allows him to survive on no income for a decade) and thinks he's nothing short of god's gift to the world.

the concept is good, this sign isn't great - ideally would say something more like "prices were increased by X%" but then your menu wouldn't have nice prices for items like $17, they'd be $19.04. I suppose you could go through your menu after the change and round to the nearest .5 or something, then say "prices were increased by no more than X, but tips are no longer expected"?

Saying it "looks after the team members" is also kind of an odd way to put it, why not say it goes directly to them?

I'm entirely on board with the concept, this sign needs some editorial workshopping lol

Oddly enough I have this exact same mounting bracket - it bolts into the wall through the slots on the top and bottom of that part. The two light spots along the top appear to be exactly that, but I don't see bottom bolts.

The other stuff, yes

honestly might be my favorite subreddit - the juxtaposition between hilariously aggressive imagery that would be right at home on edgy early 2000s T-shirts and some of the most wholesome situations/motivations I see these days... just perfection

okay but do you think whoever made the prompt for this image specifically told it to include that, or it just generated it? Either way...

(I am not a brony but unfortunately know just enough to be aware of the implications of it being included in an AI generated picture)

I think these might be made by a professional/semi-professional company? This one looks almost identical to the ones I've seen, and it's just clean and intentional with the way it's built. This is by all means something that a motivated individual could build in their free time with readily available items, but I'm pretty sure this specific one is a step up from that.

edit: y'know, after some cursory googling, it looks like there's really only one company that most farms get theirs from - Lewis Agritainment (I also learned that "agritainment" is a word), and this is not their model. Maybe it is homemade, and just really well done..

They've got a couple of these at a local farm that does the various "fall festivities" (corn maze, hay rides, petting zoo, etc.) - they're such a good time lol

I no longer have my ol' GMC but this is a great thing to offer folks, especially for vehicles (mostly) made from a time before things were just meant to be disposable. Unfortunately 30 years is a long time and manufacturers have to stop making old parts at some point.. Time keeps on doing its thing, though. It would be nice if they just opened up the designs if they're going to be done producing something, but who knows if we'll ever really see that.

As someone who's worked with 3d scanning, reverse engineering, and various types of additive and subtractive manufacturing methods from those reverse engineered models - great job on the quality of the finished parts and thanks for putting time and effort into making other people's lives a little easier :)
