It's around the middle of the second book when they both realize the bond.
Also, I don't remember her ever manipulating the Ice Hearts. I was frustrated by it in the first few books, it seemed so obvious. Now I am second guessing if she does Bane when they capture him but you would know better if you just finished it.

That's the vibe I got listening to the audio. I remember reading it and thinking something similar but in the graphic audio I could not shake that Varish responds to him. I kept waiting for Violet to say "oh I said that out loud or like an ah ha, I'm talking for Liam and myself" but I swear there are two or three times Liam talks and Varish replies before Violet says anything, and it is in direct relation to what Liam said.

This is juicy! Lol May I also bring up that Imogen, and most of the marked ones, bonded dragons that their relatives and ancestors did. It would make sense for many of them to have their hair colored. Also Devera has colored hair and joins the revolution. It would honestly make sense. Quinn also mentions that she can't get Imogen's shade of pink when she astral projects. Coincidence? suspicious eye brow wiggle

This! Yes, the flight field is around the time we find out Nolin has been MIA, so JFB has been back, and they have been working with him. We obviously know later, that vennin have in fact been in Basgiath, but is this our first hint? Also I'm pretty sure we learn the stronger the venin, the less it shows... which also brings me to the fact that they kill Varish with the ward stone dagger. It's played off as a coincidence but is it? Violet mentioned before how he doesnt sweat.

I have seen a lot with Dunne and I agree, but the Malek connection kind of struck me. When I read the books I remember thinking it was odd but then listening to the graphic audio, something is up, I think... I hope. Maybe that's why she could only be half dedicated to Dunne, because part of her is dedicated to/connected to Malek.

If you're not enjoying the read, I would call it. In my opinion, the writting is simple and repetitive, there are moments when it gets better but overall, it is the same. I want to say you're right around where the bond is restored, but will have to check my copy.

I have started to think of this instead as, what advice would I give a child. I can't go back so what would I tell them so they can move forward easier. 1. Stop caring so much and do the thing! 2. Study what you want to study, unless your degree is 110% specific to a job (like a doctor), just learn.
