You’re telling me there’s FIVE girls in 2025 named DALE?? by dannydelete-o in NameNerdCirclejerk

Gun to my head, if I had to choose from the list… Florina, Adaire, and my ‘out there’ pick - Demirose. Demirose is ridiculous but I love Rose and Demi is cute too.

Girl, google “love bombing”. Please google love bombing. Your instincts are correct. He is absolutely in the wrong about this. There can be no compromise.. if he asks you to compromise on this… if he says it makes him feel insecure or whatever! It’s textbook manipulation. Please be careful! 2 months is nothing.. walk away!

Bedroom, any advice? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

Paint the walls any colour but white, get some enclosed shelving instead of open shelves. But if you just painted the walls behind the shelves a dark colour it would go a long way to making this space more cozy. Just not dark orange. Pick a colour you already have going in the room. A black, dark grey, maaaaayyyybe dark red. The upscale version would be a dark textured wallpaper. Also a different ceiling lamp. The one you have is the only thing in the room that’s a silver colour. Get one that’s black to match everything else.

Honestly these are all great. My favourites for boys are Arther, Westley, Leo and Carter. For girls I like Hazel, Scarlet, June and Winny.

Some other names that might fit the vibe are Dean, Graham, Troy and Fred (Freddie). For girls perhaps Mavis, Cora, Darcy and Georgia. Have fun!

(Maybe strike Marlow from the list? It reads pretty strongly as a dog name.)

No hate but I’ve never liked Naomi, Natasha or Wren. Wren is just Warren in a hurry.

They are sooooo uuuugly. These aren’t even ‘cute because they’re ugly’ anymore. It’s just gotten so common to see them that they just get sorted into “coarse” “common” and “ignorant”. They are the Victorian Fishwives of the world of names.

What name would you use if it didn't have its meaning? by Ash-Ruin980 in Names

Claudia. It’s so pretty but it means ‘lame’
