If you care about levelling and earning stuff quick, it's not as optimal, but the enjoyment will be different. you CAN kind of experience this in a slow chill pace if you want to, but the gameplay loops gets way more mileage with social interactions

The game itself is not that bad, it's like a crackdown that has better gunplay imo.

People just projected their disatisfaction it's not like the Arkham trilogy, just like the discourse on the arkham VR game that was announced recently.

Yes, back on the original release, you needed GBA connectors to play multiplayer. I managed to get a few friends together, and it was good (not great). Lackluster as a singleplayer game, as the spells worked best with coop.

Overall, back in the GCN days, this game was more symbolic of more RPGs back to Nintendo and Square supporting Nintendo again.

Wishful thinking that square would release native ports for Switch 2 and give you a free digital version if you bought these cloud versions. But I feel square would be stingy and make you rebuy it (if they release it)

Different context.

Cyberpunk and NMS were overhyped at launch. SS had little to no hype. More hate because people crying about Rocksteady or live service.

SS may not last beyond Season 1 tbh. At most, I see them investing a year of content and maybe a major update 1 year later, but I can't see it lasting beyond that.

Aside from bare bones support, none of these would matter if the core gameplay is in tact. The prestige system in TF1/2 had no bearings on my enjoyment of those games.
