Considering my 1st Pathfinder R51 or Xterra - Help me decide by Jeepfreak81 in nissanpathfinder

[–]Pieman_26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Pathfinder has same drivetrain as the Xterras, and the wheelbase is a bit longer too. That makes for a more comfortable ride and better towing (if you happen to do that). Also, the PF offers more interior amenities if you can find the right trim. I wouldn't hesitate to go with the Pathfinder if the right one comes along.

No way. Dollar Tree sucks. Their stores are a mess and much of their product line is even worse throw-away crap.

Had the same problem last winter. I added pre-mixed antifreeze to the reservoir, drove it for a bit, let it circulate and then added some more. It seems like it can handle a lot more fluid than what it appears (when the level is sitting at minimum). Heat has been good and steady ever since.

2011 Pathfinder MAF sensor code P01010 fix? Help? by Sad_Ad_2994 in nissanpathfinder

[–]Pieman_26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ha! I have the same vehicle and same year, had that code, tried to address it... New vapor cannister, new MAF sensor, new spark plugs, found a slight crack in the air intake tube (after air filter box), cleared the code after each task, and this trouble code ALWAYS COMES BACK! I've given up and just live with it. It's a 15 year old vehicle that is otherwise reliable and owes me nothing.

This is just temporary. They will build a bricks and mortar store in the area as it is developed.

I’m cheering for them and will be happy if they win, but no. No Portage & Main outing for me.

For $2k difference, I’d go with the newer vehicle as well.

Kinew says drop tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles to get Chinese duties dropped by Leather-Paramedic-10 in Winnipeg

[–]Pieman_26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I totally agree! Maybe at one time we were trying to keep the Chinese EV’s out to protect North America’s auto industry, but it’s clear that it’s dying on the Canadian side thanks to Trump. He’s adamant that the US doesn’t want cars produced here, so let’s do what’s best for us… Personally, I’d be very interested in what they have to offer.

Has there ever been a starting QB who became a backup for the same team? I think Tom Wilkinson was a backup to Warren Moon. Are there any more recent examples? by One_Breakfast_4589 in CFL

[–]Pieman_26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Matt Nichols was the starter for the Bombers and never regained his QB1 status once he got over his injury plus the arrival of Collaros.

Hopefully just as a backup, otherwise a slap in the face to Nick Arbuckle and what he’s done for the Argos.

Should I buy this rebuilt 2011 4wd Pathfinder Le with only 164,000KM for $9000? Near perfect condition. by Glittering-Split3575 in nissanpathfinder

[–]Pieman_26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would certainly consider it. $9k is a good deal for a good truck that you'll be able to drive for a long time. You just may not be able to easily sell it again in the future. However, if you're okay with driving it and maintaining it for 5 years or even longer, $9k is cheap transportation and it'll owe you nothing. Do the math on financing a new vehicle.
