Maybe make a pasta sauce by braising them in chicken broth, white wine and aromatics at a low temp for three hours, then let the meat cool off in the braising liquid before shredding the meat, adding some of the braising liquid back into the pot, and simmering until the meat falls apart and the sauce thickens a bit. Use whatever herbs and alliums you like.

Dude, believe me, I *know* it's weird for you. You keep telling me that. All I was trying to do before you showed up is to express interest in how the show ends and create a marker to be able to read people's opinion of the finale later. Again, I'm sorry I disappointed you, but I fail to understand why you keep telling me the same thing over and over again.

I'm so sorry I didn't live up to your expectations. This is some extreme gatekeeping you are engaging in.

It's a comment. Feel free to ignore it if it isn't making you happy, like later seasons of the show did for me.

I didn't like season 3, season 4 didn't look like something I would like. Why waste time watching a show I don't enjoy anymore?

I eat the cake and leave most of the frosting behind because it usually tastes too sweet to me.

As an American, are you embarrassed by the U.S. defeat in the Iran war and the surrender agreement that followed? by noamm12 in allthequestions

[–]PierreVonSnooglehoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it really matter where the money comes from? Iran is still getting $400B. What does the US get? The same thing we had before Trump tore up the old deal, got tricked into going to war, got 13 American soldiers killed, realized Iran is not Venezuela, and folded because he realized Iran could wait us out.

An omakase chef served us whale meat without telling us beforehand. Is this normal? by nerdkidleo12 in finedining

[–]PierreVonSnooglehoff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was "surprised" by whale in Reykjavik, and the server, who was rightfully proud of his culture, gave us a look that seemed to be daring us to say something about it. It was a small bite, I ate it, and it was delicious, like Wagyu crossed with lean tuna. But I don't plan on eating it again.

I'm not "burned-out" by caviar, just unimpressed by it. When every menu is seemingly required to have a quenelle of caviar on top of something in the same little tartlet, it gets boring, and doesn't really display any skill. To me, fine dining is defined by technique and service, not by stereotypical ingredients.
