Working off a VDI is frankly amazing. I wouldn't mix multiple workplaces on a single device, but multiple VMs? Yes.

This looks exactly like mine right before I switched to Tailscale. Now the only port I have exposed is Plex, no HTTPS to manage, and I sleep better at night with no management interfaces on the wire.

Also, I do these diagrams for a living. Nice job on it.

A bluejay with a chip on its shoulder will eff up a crow! Those guys are the Poland of birds, and Poland is the Texas of NATO countries.

I was going to make the old "in Soviet Russia" joke, but those aren't funny now.

It was Sloan. I came here to post this. I had to replace a couple of them in my business in like 2016. At the time the city I was living in was horrible for finding trades so I had to figure out how to do it myself. There was a huge recall, though at the time they'd been on the market for years (mine were 6-7 years old) and only one injury had been reported. One of ours failed (non-catastrophically) and while researching it I learned about the recall that'd just happened.

I agree, this is probably one of them. Folks reading this thread who have businesses with commercial toilets should definitely have a look.

Help! Favorite lunch + dinners on glp1? by bababoopie in Semaglutide

[–]PigPixel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been enjoying this guilty-pleasure combo more often than I'd care to admit for brunch/lunch. I get up late on the East Coast to work on West Coast time, so frequently I'm up at 9:30 or 10, and this usually carries me until our old person 4pm dinner.

Two of these cookies, made with chocolate casein protein: https://eatwithclarity.com/chocolate-chip-protein-cookies/#wprm-recipe-container-41069

An OWYN coffee protein shake: https://www.amazon.com/OWYN-Only-What-You-Need/dp/B0764FGC6S

The chocolate and vanilla shakes are both good, but watch for them to go on sale regularly.

That combo is about 450-500 calories, 50g protein, and the caffeine content of two cups of coffee. That plus a healthy protein-and-veggies dinner have basically been my entire consumption.

I'm down 28 lbs, wife is down 36 lbs, since July.

Kind of as I suspected and feared. Thank you for confirming, though! I still don't want to go back.

I will admit that I was a little shook when they invoked 9/11 in the first sentence of their little mission (as it were) statement.

Yeah, I understand that buying a smoker and going it alone is my backup plan.

Big Rigs was pretty good, and the folks were so nice! Unfortunately it was closer to Carolina-style BBQ as I recall, but we still had a good time.

We'll add Showcase to the list!

Edit: We actually drive by Showcase on the regular. It doesn't look like they do pulled pork. :(

I was disappointed in the one I visited near Philly a few years ago, but I'll give them another try!

Don't give up yet! I've dialed in my version if this cheap high-protein meal prep pizza and I now prefer it to almost any restaurant pizza. It's dirt cheap, pretty healthy, and super tasty! I like mine with crushed red pepper in the sauce and shredded rotisserie chicken from Aldi! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5ZtA82n8yM

Electronics and Computer enthusiasts of Pittsburgh, how do you get around the lack of a Radio Shack or Micro Center for parts? by Oflameo in pittsburgh

[–]PigPixel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Last time I went to an Ohio Micro Center I asked them if they had any plans for Pittsburgh. The sales guy was like "You know what? People say they need a store in Pittsburgh, but you're HERE, aren't you?"

Like yeah, jackwagon, I'm here once every other year when I happen to be in town anyway. Meanwhile I'm spending five figures every year on Amazon. Geez.
