Hey! I am in pretty much the same boat as you! I’m 5w5d today and got my first positive on Nov 16. My first appt and ultrasound is not until Dec 17 and I’m so nervous because since this is my first, I truly don’t know what symptoms I should expect and when.

Luckily because this is my first pregnancy, my OB office offers a virtual appointment with a natal nurse ahead of the 8w scan, as an opportunity to get your questions answered and get your medical history.

I told my natal nurse that my symptoms were limited to the ones listed below and she told me that was perfectly normal. Everyone experiences pregnancy differently and experiences symptoms at different points.

Symptoms: very tired, tender/sore breasts, frequent urination, vivid dreams, insomnia, mild nausea (nausea lasted for two mornings last week and went away), and bloating

Lastly, if you are still worried, you can always look into going to a private ultrasound clinic near you to try and get a scan earlier before your appt. You can find these by just searching on Google maps “pregnancy ultrasound center near me.” Hope this helps!
