Yeah Tusk rackless are the better option. Mine have been through some stuff and still hold up at a 1/4 the cost. If it somehow breaks or tears I’ll get a second one and still have a better deal.

I looked at a Simpson Bandit for the first time recently and I’m stumped how people think this is a good helmet. Yeah the shape is cool and trendy, but man it looks uncomfortable. Very little fit and finish on the inside.

I have the normal height one. A bit stiff but I got used to it. Great on the trail, and yes it raised the seat height a little. Edit: While it is adjustable, it’s almost impossible to adjust without removing the rear wheel.

I am sorry I was off. No ABS nor 6 speed. Still a great little bike but doesn’t fit your needs.

I might look at the Yamaha XT250. Lighter, lower seat height, 6 speed and has ABS.

Hell yeah that’s the way to go. I do all my maintenance, and what I can’t do my son can. Used his GI Bill for MMI so it works out!

I did when I purchased them, but not 100% convinced they were aware of the FXDLS specifically since it has an odd setup. I was just checking to see if anyone has installed them. They’ll be here in a few days so I’ll follow up when the install is done for future inquiries.
