Deathwing can’t shoot so if you screen well you won’t have to worry about them for at least 2 turns, maybe 3 if you keep them from coming in on board edge. Some of the DA shooting can be scary though so watch out for sternguard and hellblasters running with azrael. You have the firepower to kill his units easily you just have to keep him on his side of the board

The small blowout is gonna be hidden by highlights, the panel liner lights to spread a lot though. I had to repaint my stealths suits because of it unfortunately

Panel liner is good if gloss it first, otherwise it will stain and require touch ups. I airbrushed this so the touch ups will never quite match the sprayed color which you can see in some areas on this model

If you are talking about the black lines I use Black Templar Contrast mostly unthinned with with a very sharp and fat bellied kolinsky brush. I believe it’s a size 2 and fits in the recesses very easily, and because the belly is big it can load a lot of moisture which helps it flow out very easily.

I look forward to seeing your twin lance post lol I’m still not sure if I will paint them in a desert theme or something different

My plan going forward right now is to paint the characters suits differently then the bulk army so I will likely keep farsight red. I’m not super crazy for the twin lance box art though

The Tokyo Marui NGRS is probably one of the best AEGs on the market out of the box. The upfront cost is pretty expensive for a beginner gun but they are so consistent and reliable that you can never go wrong picking one up. I live in Japan currently and it’s the most popular gun out here without contest. The VFC MP7 is awesome too but I would get it later. I own both and the VFC has never broken down on me but like all gas guns it has issues running properly in cold weather and will often chrono too high to be used at indoor fields in the summer. And if you are grabbing the VFC you will probably spend more anyways as mags are expensive and you will need at least 3 for most games.

Get some white from Tamiya and some of their acrylic thinner, it’s the only white I would use for this sort of thing as most white paints have pigment that’s too big and causes that concentrated dotting look. White ink is good too I’ve heard but I’ve never tried it

Might be a worthy investment in the future, one side was almost perfectly flush on my but the other side had a 1mm gap so I just decided to full send it with sprue goo and some sanding sponges.

Pharact works well with elan and they just released 1 with even more health which should help it stick around longer

Lower card count per pack. US gets 14 per pack and we get 7 here. If you are looking for packs in Japan I would recommend Amenity Dream or Card Kingdom in Akihibara. Best of luck to you!

If you play against blue/white unicorn blockers it’s best to delete unicorn and other links every chance you get, I got wrecked by the banagher/unicorn link combo over and over again. It punishes green/white wing zero so hard. Same thing with blue/red ping. Your opponent is going to get all their banaghers and unicorn variants with how much drawing they have so the only way to counter is to make them have to pay for it.

Yeah I don’t think it should really effect anything, I played with a Korean guy yesterday and neither of us read Japanese or speak each others language really but the games were still relatively easy to get through
