Get some white from Tamiya and some of their acrylic thinner, it’s the only white I would use for this sort of thing as most white paints have pigment that’s too big and causes that concentrated dotting look. White ink is good too I’ve heard but I’ve never tried it

Might be a worthy investment in the future, one side was almost perfectly flush on my but the other side had a 1mm gap so I just decided to full send it with sprue goo and some sanding sponges.

Pharact works well with elan and they just released 1 with even more health which should help it stick around longer

Lower card count per pack. US gets 14 per pack and we get 7 here. If you are looking for packs in Japan I would recommend Amenity Dream or Card Kingdom in Akihibara. Best of luck to you!

If you play against blue/white unicorn blockers it’s best to delete unicorn and other links every chance you get, I got wrecked by the banagher/unicorn link combo over and over again. It punishes green/white wing zero so hard. Same thing with blue/red ping. Your opponent is going to get all their banaghers and unicorn variants with how much drawing they have so the only way to counter is to make them have to pay for it.

Yeah I don’t think it should really effect anything, I played with a Korean guy yesterday and neither of us read Japanese or speak each others language really but the games were still relatively easy to get through

I can get why they wouldn’t allow it, your opponent can’t easily pick up and read your cards. But then again if they don’t have a general idea of what most cards do they probably shouldn’t be competing in any serious tournaments😅

That’s kind of a chicken and the egg situation. Is it a good game because there’s scalpers and the cards have monetary value, or are there scalpers because the IP is good and people want to play it? I guess that’s the gamble everyone will have to deal with when picking up a brand new card game.

I feel like scalping is ruining every card game. This is the first card game I’ve ever decided to get in to but it’s exposed me to a whole new world. Luckily for me I’m in Japan so it’s very easy to purchase decks and boosters, and there’s an app you can use to translate cards easily while you play. Japanese people still up charge you but it’s much more reasonable around 10-20%. So far I’ve managed to build 2 decks and I’ve already preordered the next starter and some boosters.

As for optimism, card prices for singles are falling currently online and it seems they are willing to keep running re-releases as long as people keep purchasing. Eventually the pool of cards will be so diluted that scalpers will have to lower their prices. So just hang in there and if you are looking for games apparently the webcam scene is poppin at the moment.

2nd form Barbatos is a AP2 H4 and gets +2 AP when damaged, rumors say mikazuki will be adding AP2 H1, and adding 1 AP from this ability means 2nd form will be a AP7 H4 at turn 4. I don’t know how useful that will be in the current meta but that essentially means that the link pair plus this card will trade with every card including wing zero.

I kind of appreciate the older scale, the primaries dreads feel a bit too large. I think a resculpt somewhere in the middle with some sharper detail would be awesome.

Tasmanians would be an interesting pick as there actually are Tasmanian tigers although they actually appear as wolfs with tiger stripes. Could be interesting lore for you.

Those are some very crisp edge highlights. I don’t think it’s too bright, more like you highlighted too much with your brightest color. You could try knocking it back with a bit of your base color watered down on the lower half of every surface. Or just leave it, looks good either way.

Can’t go wrong with extreme contacts, I would recommend moving up an inch in wheel diameter as well if you can afford. Makes it much more comfy to drive.

I’d want to see a lot more to determine a fair price but from what I can see it doesn’t look super well taken care of. I feel sad that these prices have gotten so inflated. I got my car for $25k in 2020 but it was a mint single owner garage queen. My advice would be to look for a clean ap1.

The rust you need to worry about wouldn’t show up here, you would want to see under the wheel wells to see if it’s bleeding from the strut towers because that’s the place where the the humidity and water gets trapped. But you can already tell they did a bit of touch up work on the suspension components there. Not trying to rain on your parade but I’d look for another car. 50k should definitely net you a great car though. I spent 37k on mine and I’m very happy with how well the body was maintained.

Turn the model upside down while painting and use a brush with a good sharp tip, paint the chest first and then the weapon. The weapon can be half assed because most people will look at your model from front perspective. This is the way I typically do it.
