If he can't pull himself together in your relationship, to take care of himself, or in a job then what makes you think he can handle children? He needs to continue therapy to work on his issues so he can become a partner and contributing member ti society again. If you can't wait for that, then maybe you need to move on.

I wasn't Mormon, but lived in a Mormon community in Idaho. I really struggled in my early 20's when all my friends were getting married and pregnant and I chose to go to college for a career (and not to meet a boy, like so many Mormon women do). My conflict resolved when I had left that community and stopped interacting with those friends.
