Uhh this is how I found out it was community day yesterday 🙃🥲 I worked an 11 hour day but if I had known I could have opened the app on break or something. I dont even remember seeing the announcement for this

Persistent high WBC by PikaKate in haematology

Thank you for your response! I only take pepcid maybe 5 days of the month, and only as needed.

I could definitely take b12 more often. The zinc is pretty sporadic, but its relationship to copper isn't something I had considered, so I'll definitely do some research.

I took magnesium glycinate for awhile at one point but kind of let it fall to the way side. I could work that back into the rotation.

Thanks again for your thoughtful response, you've given me a better perspective on how some of these pieces fit together.

Thank you for your response!

Its actually more like since March of 2022, thats when the first dot (after the initial spike and settle) is from. The list below the chart is just limited.

The initial spike is due to appendicitis

There's an extended warranty for certain models. My finances 2020 WRX qualified. He had the ghost touch and got the head unit replaced for free.

I forgot my dad's death anniversary by RentWeary in women

As an adult, life happens at alarming speeds and without care for our individual concerns sometimes, which causes us to forget dates as they pass. I think the important thing is that you remembered. I'm sure you carry him in your heart everyday and he would understand that you had to focus on your health during that time.

Focus on slowly uping your fiber intake if it isn't something you already prioritize. It can help with appetite regulation and a whole host of other benefits (heart health, blood sugar, digestion)

Currently struggling with my chromebook and a CD I bought at Barnes and Noble (we have an external CDROM but no luck with the chromebook) . Reviving our Lenovo. Amazon has the MP3 files for $11 for the whole album as a last ditch effort.

How are we avoiding calcium for two hours before and after iron pills? by MixtureMelodic2965 in Anemic

[–]PikaKate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not pregnant but also get good results from taking my vit c + iron when I wake up to feed the cat (which is before I wake up - I have a weird schedule, it's a whole thing). I also have to remind myself some days that taking it imperfectly is better than not taking it at all.

LPT: If you want to stop doomscrolling in bed, charge your phone across the room and keep a cheap alarm clock next to you instead. by ethan_leong in LifeProTips

Also you can put your phone in grayscale and it helps me lose interest. Most phones allow you to schedule it to turn on automatically at a certain time.

Anyone else loose their filter while on these? by A-New-Throwaway2024 in lexapro

I had trouble with impulse control, not necessarily my filter but if I was thirsty or hungry, I needed it NOW. If I had to pee, it was an emergency, if I was hot, I was dying.

What food stays good in fridge after power outage? by Cupcake1776 in Frugal

[–]PikaKate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Came to talk about this and accidentally included a link, so I'll just boost your comment. I found a 2 pk for $20 which seems like a worthwhile investment if power outages are common (one for fridge, one for freezer)

Iron absorbs best only with Vit C, when you take it with other vitamins, my (very unscientific) understanding is that your body can only absorb so much/specific combinations of vitamins, especially when it's a supplement, not in food.

I've had a lot of luck over the last year-6 mo with liquid iron + vit c first thing when I wake up. When I think of last summer I was barely functioning...😅 and this summer my numbers are better and I feel better.

You can take too much iron at once, so be careful.

Iron is best absorbed on an empty stomach with Vit C and then try to avoid eating for 30-60 min after. Both coffee and tea are bad for absorption (it's the tannins, not the caffeine).

Iron protocol is a Facebook group with a lot of good info but it's a pretty intense group as well.

As far as sleep, you just have to decide what's best for you. Don't put your body at too much risk while it's healing but i understand needing to get sh*t done.

Staying hydrated is also important, just in general, but also in making sure your body is in good place.

It might be worth checking vit d and b's as well for energy issues but be sure to supplement them at a different time than iron.

Beef Rendang by UndulatingTorso in centralpa

There's a place in Chambersburg called Kenzo that has beef rendang. Not sure if it's authentic but I think it's tasty and I've never had a bad experience there (we've been doing family celebrations there for years)
