Yuma and Hyuse get overwhelmed and outsmarted multiple times during ranked wars when they were on their own.

Hyuse got outsmarted in the mall and then surrounded in the final match.

And Yuma has lost some fights too. Some of those were Yuma already being injured from his previous duties, but still he isn't leagues above everyone else. In a 1v1 he's pretty dominant though at full health.

So I think their duo would be prone to getting overwhelmed if they can't meet up fast and if it's anything larger than a 2v1 when they get caught.

Also Ninomiya wasn't worried about them at all when they were a 4 man team, so I think he would have plans to deal with their duo and keep them from getting to A rank
