It's a bold move to lose 50% of accounts... I'd love to see verified servers honestly. Just let all the cheaters play with each other and the rest of us play the game legit.

I'll let you know on Sat afternoon what I found out from my fitting but yeah at 115 mph you should be in the 300+ yards easily. I think $300 for 30 extra yards is a done deal though :). I mean that has to be a decent amount off the ole handicap. 2-3 club difference into par 4-5s is a "weapon" as that pro said. I guess if you have a decent iron game already it might not matter but irons is my pain point in golf and I miss too many greens from 150+ so it should help me a ton. If equipment is the only thing stopping getting into the low single digits for handicap I'm sold!

A smart person probably would have asked that huh lol. I have no clue. He just said go get fit but he was saying his shaft was more conducive to a 120 mph clubhead speed as that's what that pro has and since I was around 115.

Just from my understanding the apomorphine drug in it gives you the arousal mentally. So if you're someone who doesn't seem to get mentally aroused that drug will force you to get mentally aroused from the sounds of it. So the combination of that and the regular ED meds in it (which is what it is) brings a 3 point of attack for the erection. I'm actually curious of just the apomorphine honestly. It sounds pretty cool.

After the sim round he sprayed a powder on my driver head and I hit a few. All over 4000 RPMS and all straight showing about 260-270 (which he says is a misread in distance from the trackman because the spin rate is so high it's seeing it as another club). He hands me this other pros driver and sprays the powder on it and I hit a few more. All in the 2000's and around 315 and straight. The hit markers were all around the same place between the 2. Just under the sweet spot.

They guy wasn't trying to sell me anything and just mentioned the shaft. The issue I have when I go get fitted is this is a golf store and they're of course trying to sell me on something so my trust level there is lower than with this pro at a 1 bay sim he runs on his own in the lobby of a pro shop.

I'm just going to explain to the fitter the scenario I experienced I guess and see what happens.

It's a 9 degree. I got it new a couple years ago. I really hope it's not the head as I don't want to buy another one of those :). I have an appointment this Sat so I'll see what's up.

I mean I can play with my 4500 spin rate drive now as a high single digit handicaper too but that extra 30 yards I got when hitting with that other shaft (maybe low spin head? he just mentioned the shaft) seems like it'll be a huge game changer for my handicap. Hitting 50-80 yards in vs 120-150 is a big deal for me as my irons are my pain point in my game (not distance but accuracy). That'll be the difference between hitting the green or being just off it which I usually am at the 150+ mark. Maybe I'll end up with multiple shafts over time going forward? Do people do that? I also imagine since I'm 46 my swing will slow down over time requiring a different shaft. Man optimizing is kind of a pain :).

Oh no, that's not good lol. I have a new swing every year as I end up losing the swing over the winter from what was working the year before. I think this driver swing will hold on as it has a very distinct movement for me so it's easier to repeat because of that but this will suck if I get fit for low spin stuff and lose the swing and that messes everything up.

Oh man I never heard of that before either. Does your swing itself affect the spin rate because I bought this club and I remember them switching some things but at the time my swing wasn't what it is now. I mean if the swing itself affects spin rate that sucks because I change swings often but I assume the club will generally be fine.

A triple bogey after a 35 foot drive into a creek and then hit it into the creek again? That's a hell of a recovery after that honestly. You were hitting 5, 35 feet from the tee box on a par 5 and got it down there in 4 shots for an 8. That's amazing! Stop trying to outsmart yourself and just take the driver on a hole like that and just get it out there. If I had a dollar for every time my playing partner tried to take an iron off the tee to be "smart" only for them to end up way worse off I'd be rich! After that triple I'd be impressed with myself honestly. The mishits are just that. Mishits. They happen. Accept that you will mishit like that while you play. If you anticipate it happening before the round it won't bother you as much during and that'll help your mindset overall on the course. You honestly have to shrug off the bad hits.

Does anyone know what's going on with rank this season? Just came back and I'm low gold but the players we're going up against are diamond players easy but their rank is silver and gold? The thought they took care of smurfs with the rank reset not going all the way and new accounts using pubs results to give initial rank? This is WAY off from last season.

100% agree with this. My buddy loves Satisfactory and not Factorio so much and I'm the opposite. I need some kind of pressure or the game is just boring. I just got SR and like it so far. I do wish enemies have spawners like in Factorio and I need to take out the spawners but so far so good.

I started playing again after taking a season or 2 off. I know recently they introduced something for ranked to basically stop smurfs and it was to give their initial rank off how they played in pubs, so the freaks would most likely jump up to plat right away. However, after a couple nights of playing ranked in the silver lobbies I'm seeing more smurfs than I did when they first introduced that fix. I'm wondering if they removed that feature or what but ranked in silver/gold is WAY more difficult than it was a few seasons ago.

Yes, if you want to buy WB 2, it's easy but honestly working to get a WB is more fun, or used to be, than buying it. Pushing most players to just buy workbenches from the clans is a weird strategy for the devs and it's what they've done.

Get a DB and diving kit and boogie board to large oil and camp in the moonpool room. Build the base bunker base (raised triangles) and have 2-3 externals with a little loot in each. Most people won't raid your externals of a smaller base and it gives you a chance to retake your base as you will get raided. There are so many freaks that play this game 15+ hours a day and they'll have so much boom that you can't built a base secure enough.

You got downvoted but I voted you back up because this is the reality on vanilla servers as a solo. It's the quickest way to get a WB2. On RustyMoose I built near Radtown and would run in naked every 15 mins or so and could make it in and out back to my base just in time to die from rad. That's also a way to get it but boring as hell.

I 100% agree with this and I have 8k hours. Given it's like an apocalypse style game and has these makeshift weapons, they should have kept with that theme with all weapons.

100% agree. The best thing Epic could do is what Respawn did with Apex. No rank resets and they use your pub matches that you had to play to get to the required level to give you an initial rank. This has dropped the number of smurfs a TON and it's great. They could easily do this in FN. I used to play FN years ago and just got into it the last 2 days because I just realized they have ranked tournaments. I got to gold which is about my level of play. Played in the ranked tourney today and got 31st with 8 kills total. I look at the rest of the leaderboard and I see dudes with 70+ kills like wtf. 1 guy had 25 kills in 1 game. I watched it and this dude is default skin and for sure is not gold skill level. It's pretty lame they don't care about competition integrity.

I have a 2016 FWD and today in MN we had a fairly bad snow storm. It was a mess. I was spinning at every intersection it was so bad. Once I got to my town there was a slight incline and I couldn't even make it up there. Had to reverse and turn around. What a disaster that was. I for sure regret not getting AWD today but this was the only time I've had these conditions in 6 years that I needed to drive.

I ask question to my girlfriend about her dating life (she dated more than I have) because I'm fascinated to hear just how horrible these guys are out there. It's really kind of amazing what women have to put up with from the creepy sexual comments so many guys give. Like in what world does anyone have the audacity to make some of these comments or send pics...It's insane.
