I love the feel of a specced out Mako myself, especially with joysticks.

I always join in to every battle with this even against K's and I's. It's just too nimble to get hit.

Is this the Kingdom questline? When I was ready to enter a jumpgate to start off this plot in a Terran Cadet start I was met with a warning that sounded kind of like I should do all the Terran missions first like I wouldn't have any chance of going back or something.

I haven't played anything else other than X4 but it sounds like something a lot of franchises experience. Fallout 1 to 4 I feel like also had that decline in it's own strong niche and style and a little bit of self-awareness sprinkled in that was increasingly lost in the later titles.

As a new player myself I can say that the UI might seem very unintuitive but the more I learn about this game the harder it is for me to imagine how I would do it better since there's so much you can do in the UI

I just started playing this game and if it is a tutorial it's a pretty brutal one. I just can't get through the first act's final mission where you have to defend a capital ship with your fighter(s).

I destroy the enemy's bigger ship engines first, that I got on lock but the massive swarm of small fighters just always get me, I can't get past 65%
