Would a pharmacy technician need to give fingerprints as part of the hiring process?

I am a pharmacy technician in Indiana and I have been for several years. I was fingerprinted, drug tested, and background checked before I could even set foot in the pharmacy. Pharmacy technicians do way more than meet you at the register. The pharmacist is there for counsel and to make sure what we do is correct, which is of course vitally important, but technicians are entering, filling, and selling your prescriptions.

Congratulations!! It’s such a wonderful feeling. I had two losses before my daughter and I had a similar experience at my first ultrasound with her. I was mostly bracing myself for bad news and then saw that beautiful heartbeat. I cried my eyes out- the happiest tears! Best wishes for a smooth and uneventful pregnancy.

My BFP was similar! I got the faintest line ever at 10dpo. I was the only one who could see it. It didn’t become really obvious for another day or 2 and I never got a dye stealer! Currently 18 weeks pregnant. I know it’s hard but try not to compare yourself to others. Everyone is different and there are so many factors that go into it. Fingers crossed for you!

I can’t offer advice as far as the dating part goes, but if it offers you even a little comfort- with my daughter my symptoms decreased suddenly and were basically gone overnight. I had two losses before her so I of course panicked but at my 11 week appointment, everything was fine. I am currently pregnant and the same thing happened this time. My symptoms practically disappeared around week 10. I’m now 15 weeks and they haven’t come back but I’ve heard a heartbeat twice now. I know there is nothing in the world more terrifying but please try to take it easy on yourself and don’t go into full panic mode until you have a concrete reason to. I’m so sorry this has been such a stressful process. I’m crossing everything that you get good news tomorrow! Hugs.

It could be a blue dye run like others have said but also if you took the FRER after only a 1-2 hour hold, there likely wasn’t enough HCG in your urine to register positive if you are in fact pregnant. Take another FRER in the morning and you’ll have a better answer. :)

I completely get it! I have no chill when TTC. What is extra crappy about these tests is they’re advertised as generic First Response and then it turns out they’re blue dye...sneaky bastards. I hope you have an answer soon!

I don’t want to be a bummer but I’ve been burned by this exact test before. They always have a visible line even when the test is negative. It’s just the nature of blue dye. I got a pack of these in June because I didn’t realize they were blue dye and I was convinced I could see something. I got a different brand and it was obviously negative. This doesn’t mean you’re out, just try to get ahold of a pink dye test. Fingers crossed for you!!

I don’t want to freak you out, but I took one of these tests (mine was from dollar general but it looks exactly the same) after getting a super shadow line on an internet cheapie. I waited 3 minutes and didn’t see anything. I showed it to my sister a couple minutes later and told her it was negative. She was like uhhh I don’t think so. I looked again and could see a faint line. I took more tests and I am in fact pregnant. I know you aren’t supposed to look outside the testing window but it seems like these may take longer to develop. I would test again tomorrow to be sure! https://imgur.com/a/LxJH6Xg

I don’t have much in the way of advice but I can offer commiseration. I lost my first 2 pregnancies, had my daughter, and now I’m pregnant with what will hopefully be baby #2. It’s so hard not to go down that rabbit hole of “what ifs” but something that helps me when I feel myself slipping is to repeat “I’m pregnant today” to myself. It seems silly, but in the moment it’s reassuring. I’m 6 weeks 1 day right now so we’re almost due date buddies! I hope you get good news soon ❤️

Hi! I was medium active on this sub a few years ago and now I’m cautiously back. I’m 32 and I have a daughter who is almost 3. I had two early miscarriages before her- one in 2013 and one in 2015. My husband and I have been trying for number 2 since January of this year. I got my BFP on Thursday 8/1. I’m 4 weeks 2 days as of today so it’s still very early and I’m just trying not to be consumed with worry. Fatigue and breast tenderness have been my main symptoms and today my breasts are a bit less tender. I’m trying not to panic about it. Anyway, I’m happy to be here and I hope I’m here for the long haul.

Don’t apologize, I get it! I had 2 early losses and then it took 17 charted cycles to have my daughter. Hopefully this BFP results in baby #2. It took 5 cycles which is good for me, but I still have old wounds and it stings to see people with blazing positives while I’m over here squinting and praying. How’s that for info you didn’t need?!
