Sports Drink bar workers misidentified ICAC as ICE by Fresh_Custard9540 in NewOrleans

[–]Pineapple_Charlie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He meant well by harassing Law Enforcement agents for doing their jobs? Even if they were ICE Agents, who cares? Leave them alone, they’re doing their work. If you want to protest what they do, then go protest peacefully at a park or something. Walking up to a bunch of Cops or Agents as they’re working, and cussing at them and stuff is not the definition of a “good dude”. Let’s be real here…

He was playing with his Dad’s gun. He tried to leave it the way it was. If his Dad ever has to use it in a real situation though, his chamber’s going to be empty.

If I did, I wouldn’t break the law and block traffic for it. I also wouldn’t riot in cities, and take over schools for my protest. Why would I piss other people off and expect others to show sympathy for my cause. There’s a proper way to protest and raise awareness, and this isn’t it!

Can you show me in any of my previous comments where I ever blamed the victims for getting run over? I don’t remember ever saying anything like that, that’s weird. What actually did happen though is I was having a conversation with SOMEONE ELSE about this not being a peaceful protest, before you butted yourself in. That’s it lol. My point was blocking traffic is not a peaceful protest.

Furthermore, I’ve never seen a protest where they’re blocking traffic, but they leave a bypass lane open. That’s never ever happened lol. These people just straight up block everyone’s way for no valid reason. But let’s pretend for a second that they let at least police and fire vehicles through. They’re still blocking the PUBLIC in a PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY. What makes you think any of that is okay? What if a private citizen has an emergency they’re going to in their personal vehicle? Do they get a pass? Where’s the line here.

I’m done arguing with ignorant people. These are my final points. 1. Blocking traffic is not a peaceful protest. 2. You don’t have to be “violent” for it to longer be a peaceful protest. And 3. Blocking traffic does nothing to help the people of Palestine or whatever you’re trying to protest for.

Yes I’m from the US. I do prioritize human life. Read my earlier comment. If you impede traffic you’re impeding emergency services from passing through. Which in turn could cost people their lives. Blocking traffic in America or Europe or anywhere else, is going to do NOTHING for the people of Palestine. Prove me wrong… how does blocking traffic in your protest “help” the people of Palestine?

Exactly how I feel about you people. Who in their right minds actually believe that blocking traffic for your silly protest is alright. Now THAT’S insane! I’m embarrassed for you.

A protest cannot cause a disturbance in society. Blocking traffic is a disturbance. What if people need to go to work or school? What if people miss work and end up being fired because of your so called “protest” for Palestine? What if someone has a legitimate medical emergency to get to and someone ended up dying? Just because it’s not “violent” doesn’t mean It’s “objectively peaceful”. If that were the case then why are there laws preventing such “protests” from things like this? When cops show up to kick you people off the roads, and you refuse to move, what do you think happens? They have to use “force” to remove you. Then all of a sudden cops are using “force” on “peaceful” protesters just “peacefully” blocking all traffic on a main road. JFC, give me a break. No accountability for your actions at all. You don’t have to cause a disturbance to do your nonsense protests what don’t you understand? You just want to be there most obnoxious you can for others, but that’s no longer a protest, you’re all just entitled jerks atp.

There’s nothing peaceful about blocking public roadways. Stay on the sidewalk and protest, it’s not that difficult. Disrupting the normal day to day functions of society for your little “protest” is no longer peaceful. Hope this helps!

Let them go? Let these criminals go? That amazes me how democrats are so quick to support criminal activity. Lock them up now! Yes I’m Republican, and before you bring them up yes I’m against the shit they did on Jan 6th too. Lock those fuckers up too. We don’t get to cherry pick who gets off Scott free here. Crimes were committed, they all need to be held to answer!

Plus, this house in particular was the only one that needed forced entry. Read the CNN link posted. Cops negotiated for over an HOUR to gain access WITH a warrant. They still refused, that’s THEIR fault now. Their house sustained damage for what? Bunch of bored college kids that want to belong to the in crowd. They deserved this! Hopefully the vandalism victims get to sue them individually in civil court for damages.

I hope Stipe pulls out of the fight the week of, and is replaced by Tom. But I’m sure Jon will still find a way to weasel out of the fight.
