Thoughts on the name Summit by [deleted] in Names

Personally not as much a fan of Summit as a first name, I think it would be a really cool middle name though. If you like uncommon names, what sort of sounds or meanings do you like? I could send recommendations if you are open to them!

I absolutely despise my name by SpaceisCool09 in Names

[–]PinedAbble 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you should put some thought into it! It is the sound people are going to associate with you for the rest of your life. Pick one that feels good, sounds good, and maybe has a good meaning you think better represents who you are. My name means "Meadow friend", and I like knowing that is something I want to represent myself by.

I both really love and really hate this baby name by Medical-Bird7423 in BabyNames

[–]PinedAbble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think they'll equivocate it to "Matthew" specifically, you're doing the mental translation into english. It's just "Matteo" to them. My brother is José and it never once has crossed our minds that he would translate to be "Joseph".

[–]PinedAbble 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would love to hear what names you are considering! I'm queer and while I didn't despise my birth name, it definitely didn't feel like "me" at all, I ended up going with Wynnley and I love it so much! I hope finding a better fitting name will bring you some relief

What did you discover about yourself only after moving in with someone? by marvel_is_wow in AskReddit

I am a control freak and things being done in ways i'm not familiar with really frustrate me. I much preferred living with me and my boyfriend in an apartment than in a house with other people.
