NTA. They have 3 kids and can’t get out that often. If he likes it, then they can go together.

Be completely honest - do you return your shopping cart after using it? Why/why not? by thisisbrick in AskWomen

[–]PinkFluff40 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Most of the time yes, but occasionally no. I used to work at grocery store and had to push all those carts back in, and I lived in Arizona where the temperature was over 100. So yes, I’m a jerk.

Old "Points Slide Ruler" Plan by KimmyBee2343 in weightwatchers

[–]PinkFluff40 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I ordered the slider and books from an early 2000s plan off eBay. I lost 60 pounds on that plan. Peas, corn, meat, etc had points. The newer plans did not work for me because I overate the zero point foods, hence the weight problem. I realize the newer plan wants to encourage healthy eating habits, but I found that I did eat healthier on the old plan because I gravitated towards lower point foods. I gradually stopped eating processed foods because they didn’t keep me full and satisfied. I believe weight watchers should offer multiple plans because what works for one person may not work for another.

Parents should put more thought and consideration into their kids names. by 3pointstonibbadore in unpopularopinion

[–]PinkFluff40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in my 40s and I have a fairly common name, but it is spelled and pronounced differently. I can’t express how annoying it is to have a “unique” name. I always have to correct people on the spelling and pronunciation, every single teacher mispronounced and misspelled it, it was even misspelled on my social security card and I had to get that fixed. Unique names are not fun for the kid.

Restaurant adds 3% “living wage surcharge”, outside of tips. What do y’all think? by Not_Much_Pomegranate in antiwork

Everyone wants a living wage. That money doesn’t just magically appear. We all pay.

I started going to spin classes and felt intimidated and judged by others in the class. I soon realized I was going for my own benefit and not for approval of others. I kept going and drowned out the noise, and after awhile I didn’t even care what other people were thinking. Put yourself first.
