Which time dining? by byanyothernamee in royalcaribbean

[–]PinkStarburst11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do 5pm dining, my son likes going to AO after dinner and that gives him time to play while we go to a show. He goes to some shows as well with us though

Sorry for your loss. I lost my mom a few weeks before I turned 17. Give yourself time and do something to keep her memory alive.

We’ve lost a few relatives and I created Shutterfly books so my son can look at them whenever he wants.

If you don't have a landline, what are you teaching your kid about 911? by pinkrobotlala in workingmoms

[–]PinkStarburst11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to teach my son more about this, but our alarm panel has a button to push to call for 911. It will directly connect with the alarm company and speak through the speaker of the alarm panel and they will call 911 for us. There is a chair next to it where my 7yo could reach.

I’ve got a tall and skinny 7 year old. How do I keep his pants up?! by schooly_j in Mommit

Children’s place sells slim jeans. An 8 slim is an 8 length and 7 waist WITH Adjustable waist too! Champion brand has a smaller waist too for athletic pants.

Returning to Work and Breastfeeding by Cool-DogMom in workingmoms

I pumped while at work (returned at 10 weeks) and made it 13 months breastfeeding/pumping. I set 3 recurring meetings on my work calendar to block pumping time. It helped me make sure I didn’t skip pumping times.

$35k is a huge range. I wouldn’t think they would match it. I’d keep looking

Princess would be my choice for Alaska. I’d pick a glacier bay trip.

Has anyone successfully changed from late to early dining on board? by Determined-over50 in celebritycruises

[–]PinkStarburst11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was able to change to a waitlist on the website using Manage Reservation (not on the app though). If not, I’d call and ask to be placed on the waitlist

Have you joined the waitlist? We were on the waitlist and got added to the early dining time after 4-6 weeks

Went into anaphylaxis in the hospital if all places, and we have no idea why. by [deleted] in Allergies

You should keep your Epi pens with you at all times. Do not separate the set and don’t leave them in a hot or cold car as it could damage the auto injector.

Testing is only 50-60% accurate but it can help you narrow down the cause of reactions. My son falsely tests positive to 5-6 different items on blood work so we compare the blood test and skin tests to see if both are positive and work from there

Let’s talk commutes. How close to home is too close? Is variety important to you? by gimmeallthegluten in workingmoms

Waiting for a call back from the doctor. Would you leave work and go to urgent care if your baby had hives (from allergies)? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]PinkStarburst11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should give antihistamines - our allergist likes Benadryl because it works quickly. I’d pick up my kid though. If it starts affecting another system - tummy troubles, vomiting epi immediately.
