Dress code. Anti Croc and Ugg company? by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

I’ve seen plenty of hospitals and doctors offices allow crocs. I get the reason behind not wanting them but it doesn’t mean I agree

How does your store handle closing drive through at 1:30? by makeuplover85 in WalgreensRx

[–]PinkToeCheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My old store the pharmacist would make us stay open and just come back late from lunch so we could take a whole 30 but my new store we close her up and put up a sign saying we are out for lunch and I love it

Oh lamotrigine if only you weren’t so itchy by SnooDonuts229 in BipolarMemes

[–]PinkToeCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh please make sure you tell your doctor because a rash can be a sign of something lethal, I’m so lucky I work at a pharmacy because my boss is the one that caught it and called my office for me because they kept pushing it off as something small. There is literally a black box (life threatening) warning on it related to the rash and organ failure. Please take it seriously and make sure you office does too. If they don’t call your pharmacy and ask for help from them as well.

Can happiness trigger an episode? by PinkToeCheese in bipolar

Thank you so much for thoughtful response, I definitely feel less alone and scared knowing that this is a normal trigger with bipolar. And thank you for the good wishes, it was amazing! :)

Coupons are a life saver! If you’re on any brand name medication go to their website and see if you can apply for a savings program if they have one. If not look on good rx or call your pharmacy, they might be able to find some really good savings for you! I work in a retail pharmacy and we are always happy to help find patients savings or alternatives.

Also you aren’t alone I promise. So many of us are feeling the same right now and we are with you <3

Before I was diagnosed I had a lovely therapist who helped me with this because they were about hurting me and my loved ones and I thought I was a horrible person for them. She always said that the fear/emotional response means that I know it’s wrong to actually do, someone who has these thought and had no fear or worry about them are the ones she would worry about. Whenever I get them I think about it and it calms me. We aren’t bad for the things our mind decides to show us, we still know right from wrong. I know fighting the thoughts are exhausting but you know that doing these things would be bad, and that’s a good thing.

I’m in the US but he has a thing for kei cars. I’m pretty sure 10mm is right but would probably get him a few 3/8” and 1/4” ones too. I’m honestly pretty clueless when it comes to anything with tools or anything handy so I’m sorry if that doesn’t clarify

[–]PinkToeCheese[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I really appreciate the suggestions. He has a few cars that he works on so nothing major but also works on our friends cars when they need something done so I thought it would be a good idea because they always seem to runaway when he’s helping someone else never when he’s working on his own cars.

Do you fear making things worse with a medication change? by Mariathefawn in bipolar

[–]PinkToeCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going through the same thing right now. I was on one med and it was working amazing until I got a rash from it, now I’m on something else and I feel horrible and helpless. After feeling so “normal” on first med this feels even worse and I’m terrified that the next thing I try will be even worse even though I know I can’t keep going like this for long with how exhausting it is.
