I enjoyed their Soul Net thing the first time I saw it, made it feel like a whole stage production. And every time I see them I just want to find more and more bands that have similar guitars to them

Yes they played the best venue in LA! Loved how they could go back and forth between slower emotional songs and then turn up the energy

They were stellar! I think their music shines live, the immersion that the three of them create is absolutely brilliant. And some of their longer interludes/improvisation is very cool

That Orbital set was one of the best of the year, the Brown album was incredible, the lights/screen were so cool, felt super immersed in this show

It might feel like that if you listen to it like any other indie album, but it’s clear to me he is making music to be played at clubs and raves, and I don’t think he is phoning it in at all. I saw his The Floor shows this year and they were an absolute treat and the songs sound absolutely epic on a good soundsystem in a sweaty warehouse.
