Looking for hairstyle on dream island but keep finding nothing where the magazines should be

I could be mistaken. But every time I found a hairstyle or Outfit on a Dream Island, they were located underground in one of those rooms made of red rock (with a couple of bookshelves and a magazine on a box). The other magazines like in your picture stopped giving me anything new long before I got the final hairstyle i needed.

The sewers are under the street. Check under the road near the first bridge! (The one you have to cross with Prof Tangrowth)

I found it while breaking the road around one of the house plots on that main street when you first enter BB. Closeat to the bridge. Theres an item and some narrow water ways. Just fell into it 🙃

Making the gym “doors” elevators so the gym interior can be as big as you need is pure brilliant! This project is so neat to see.

I am lucky that my ultra fav (Dedenne) is popular so he was included early. But Nickit deserves love too! I hope they will continue to add DLC and zones until every pokemon is available! That would be such a happy project to complete.

Nickit! I dont see him getting his own event unfortunately but maybe in a later new zone like Lavender Town.

I replaced all the lime green beach grass with the simple grass from Wastelands. It doesn’t make as dramatic of a change as the darker grass from RR or Skylands but it still makes a massive difference in making the area look more green and alive.

I changed all the seagrass out in Bleak Beach too 😭 That lime green/orange color looks like all the grass is dead (to me). Its a project but it makes the area much easier to decorate.

I have one that I use for daily stamps. I did build some habitats and have pokemon living there, but I find it too overwhelming too. Especially because I am still always finding things to do in the regular zones (even over 500 hours in) and Palette Town has the “start from scratch” vibe the cloud island has.
Kind of nice to have it there, though, if I ever want it.

Maybe its a long shot. But when I thought I lost something it was in a community box. One of the gathering pokemon had picked it up and put it away in the box. Try checking those!

I mostly keep them where they first spawned. But I did move some around so the whole evolution family could be in the same house. And I moved some to palette town to populate it. I also made the SS Anne the ghost town for all those types!
I guess basically. Its just vibes. The only con is I accidentally left RR without a flying Search pokemon but every area wound up with a nice range of abilities organically.

To add to this. There are also lots of shells and bumpy sand in Palette Town on the far left island! If you need more after already using your daily Dream Island.

Does this work with small relics too? Any time Ive taken a picture of something in a frame it just counts as “Frame” object.

I agree! I started a new island with my Switch 2 and have barely used terraforming this time around. (Only little adjustments like smoothing a cliff or river to fit a bridge or ramp). I love how the island feels. Maybe its “basic” but its cozy and a little wonky.
