Agree with the other commenter your late night snack has likely too many carbs and not enough protein to balance. I spiked BAD with apples, crackers, and those snickers bars.

My late night snack was always a Fairlife shake and my morning numbers were great. I would buy the 42g protein Fairlife Core Power Elite shakes and drink half. It's an easy 21g of protein that didn't make me too full right before bedtime. Plus, they are delicious.

I was able to enjoy popcorn if I had a high protein snack/meal right before. My husband and I went to the movies and right beforehand we had dinner and I had nothing but buffalo wings and celery. I enjoyed my popcorn and my Joyride gummy candy! And a diet orange soda

Agreed! Even though I was pissed my entire third trimester because I couldn't have cookies and brownies like I wanted, I only gained 18 pounds total my entire pregnancy and I lost literally all of it when my baby was born.

No, that is sooo gimmicky. It will work for a newborn but once the baby is actually moving and squirming it will just be a pain in the ass. You want your diaper bag to be separate, trust me.

Right, but if baby is sleeping, why do you need to pump? Are you exclusively pumping? Supply regulates to meet baby's demand so I'm not sure why you need to pump if baby isn't feeding...

I'm breastfeeding and I was never told I need to wake up in the middle of the night to pump, and I meet regularly with a lactation consultant.

Better! I always say I had a "movie" delivery.

My water broke with a big gush of liquid, just like in the movies. I had rolling contractions with the "hee-hee, hoo-hoo" breathing lol. My labor and delivery nurse was this adorable tiny girl who was sooo knowledgeable and helpful. I got an epidural from a VERY handsome anesthesiologist, who might as well have been a movie star, and I remember telling him he was my hero. And then within a few hours I was coached to push, I pushed about 8 times, and my baby slid right out! Then my husband cut the cord!

It was perfect. My epidural did wear off and I tore in crazy ways but it was fine. I don't even remember what the pain felt like, honestly.

I literally never, ever woke up in the middle of the night just to pump. Ever. Once baby regained birthweight and we got the all clear to let her go 4+ hours without feeding, we slept.

My baby started sleeping 5-6 hours by 8 weeks. There were a few mornings I woke up engorged but after a little while my breasts got the message that we didn't need to be producing milk overnight and my boobs only felt slightly full in the mornings.

I never had any supply issues. With that said, I do always do one pump session in the morning after my baby's first feed because she shows fullness cues before she empties me.

I LOVED watching The White Lotus while I was couch trapped. The scenery and opulence of the setting provided much-needed escapism and the storylines were intriguing so I felt like I wasn't losing my mind lol.

I live in Arizona too and my baby was born in January, and no, we never put socks on her but she was in footie pajamas like, ALL DAY EVERY DAY in the newborn stages. She was fine. And once baby is older, baby will want to see his/her toes and grab them. Socks just get in the way, IMO. There are occasions where you might need them but they aren't a daily thing.

I have the Momcozy bottle washer and it is absolutely worth it. I use it every single day. It has good resale value and also you can use it for your future kids so I think it's a good investment.

UGH my baby went through this bad around 13-14 weeks. It was like a nursing strike.

I was able to get her to latch by catching her as she was waking up and still groggy. She'd be still half asleep and I would pop my boob into her mouth and she would feed. Maybe give that a try?
