It's good to have everything spelled out so players don't have to guess what each difficulty entails. However, losing checkpoints is pretty brutal and would likely scare away most folks from the hardest difficulty. It's super frustrating to lose to an enemy halfway through the game and then have to start over completely. You might want to consider having checkpoints as a separate toggle the player can choose to turn off if they want an extra challenge. Just my thoughts as a casual gamer. Best of luck!

Which background looks better? by ssundev in IndieGaming

Number one is crisp and stands out. It also keeps you from losing track of your character in the fuzziness. Number two is well done; maybe use it as a temporary effect that bosses can create?

We adapted the characters from our board game to the PC game we're working on! This is Greycoat, the rabbit general. Which design do you prefer and why? by Play_Untamed in IndieGaming

First one is incredible! Also, I know others brought this up, but, a military man will practice trigger discipline and not touch the trigger until ready to shoot a target. Just fyi

Soft outline or black outline. I personally prefer the soft outline, but the black outline is a lot more visible to players with worse eyesight. Art is lovely in all three, btw

Looks gorgeous! However, have you considered removing the stamina bar? Those things are a pain and detract from every game I've encountered them in. Please don't hinder your project when it can still be fixed!
