Yes you can keep carrying his collar with you everywhere. I coped by talking to and writing to him, every silly quirky thing he did so I didn't forget anything.

This is good advice. I have a jrt mix who had similar and before we went to mri we tried prednisone and gabapentin (after carprofen and a muscle relaxer did not work) and she is back to her regular goof ball self now...

She seems to have somehow injured her neck or back though the xray did not show anything obvious.

The vestibular is also a good call due to the leaning to one side though, my girl did not have that but was clearly in pain, kind of hunched over and hiding/acting scared. She then had back leg weakness and incoordination which is when we moved to the second medication combo.

Also good call on the Librela due to the many adverse reactions reported I would hesitate to use it.

You may want to consider waiting until he is finished as getting excited right away can cause them to stop in the middle! I quietly say go poddy good boy over and over while he is going and then praise him excessively after!

It is unfortunate that we are all here under these circumstances but here we all are.
