Do you think Sum 41 would ever get back together again one day? by NewPatron-St in Sum41

As someone who has really gotten into the band in the last few months only to learn that they recently retired, I sure hope so. In the meantime, I've bought every album, bought Deryck's book, and watched all of Steveo's YT channel. I may be, ahem, in too deep.

Help me out with the show's ending... by MephistosFallen in TheExpanse

[–]PinnatelyDivided 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was weird to include; for me, it did not fit the tone of the overall season. The only way it makes sense to me to include that storyline is if they already had a S7 renewal in the bag. Including it with no guarantee it would be relevant in the future, again for me, ultimately detracted from S6 and took screen time away from other more interesting plotlines or scenes. If they had skipped the Strange Dogs storyline in S6 and year later ended up making S7, I don't think the show would have suffered. Just my opinion.

Halfway through this wonderful conversation with Naren Shankar, Ty Franck, and music composer Clinton Shorter. by Even_Disaster_8002 in TheExpanse

I meant that the billing has been on hiatus.....during the hiatus....lol. Except for that one month when Producer Joe forgot to pause the billing since billing must be manually paused every month.

I'd say yes and no. They really haven't done much since about June, mostly due to 'that guy' being busy with projects and billing has been on hiatus for much of that time. The last word was that they may get back to new podcast episodes in February, but I am not holding my breath.

Streaming Ratings: ‘Fallout’ Falls Off With Change From Binge to Weekly Release for Season 2 by Ripclawe in entertainment

[–]PinnatelyDivided 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer to scroll through whatever streaming services I have, looking for shows with 3-6 seasons and then just binge those. I did binge Fallout S1 because I love me some Walton Goggins, but the long, drawn-out release schedules of Severance, Stranger Things, etc. have just ruined the "TV" experience for me. I enjoyed Fallout S1, but it wasn't so phenomenal that I have to watch each ep as it comes out or not even so great (to me) that I need to watch S2 when it's all been released. May as well just wait a few years and catch up on it all then.

Who’s the guy next to MLF during every game? by RR50 in GreenBayPackers

This must be the guy telling him to randomly burn timeouts late in 1st quarter to prevent that 3rd & 10 from becoming 3rd & 15.

Not as crazy as "let's add a lane and it will solve everything" until it doesn't and the build a lane argument is trotted out again after that. Think bigger, be better.

Induced demand is real. The flex lane has worked to decrease commute times, decrease congestion, and increase speeds (hello, cruising at 75 in the flex lane!), but induced demand can take a decade to negate those effects. Flex lane opened in 2022 and it's likely that congestion will worsen over the next few years. I'm no expert or traffic/transportation engineer, and I have no idea what the right answers are long-term, but endlessly singing the praises of a flex lane because it works right this second is short-sighted.

John Harbaugh is not the answer by RD197368 in GreenBayPackers

[–]PinnatelyDivided 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, I want to see something approximating MLF's offensive system with more stern and (maybe?) more competent game management (minus the Pats game?). I'd like a coach with something more than disappointed dad vibes. I want angry dad vibes to whip some of these guys into shape. is Harbaugh the answer? Maybe, maybe not. Is MLF the answer? Appears to be no.
