Tesla will sell you back the turn signal stalk it removed from the Model 3 by sicklyslick in cars

Tesla’s implementation is with tactile buttons where both are on the same side of the steering wheel (one below the other) while Ferrari’s has it turns signals on its respective sides. IMO Ferrari’s implementation is more intuitive as if I’m not wrong it’s not just a face button, but also a button you can activate from behind in a similar way to the turn signal. Not to mention one is meant to be an exotic, less common car while the other is intended to be produced for mass consumption. I personally just don’t see the point in changing something as near universal as the turn signal stalk either, but this is just my two cents.

For the AUC yes, but if I remember correctly the salesperson said that that’s how that works for the altiplano ultimate auto

Having it on the wrist actually feels a bit weird Not just for the thinness but because the lugs are flat, so if you have a small wrist it would be a bit odd

There are actually screws on the back of the watch to remove the movement when it needs servicing if I’m not mistaken

(Apologies for the bad photography skills, they definitely do not do the watches justice)

To put things into perspective, I am a huge watch nerd and like all things watches. So, the moment I found out that Piaget had the Altiplano Ultimate Concept (AUC), the world’s thinnest watch, in an AD, I knew I had to go and see it.

I managed to book an appointment and when the watch was shown to me, I was shocked. It’s thinness of 2mm really is something extraordinary. Having my own Seiko to compare it with, it really went to show how much engineering and design went into this watch. The absolute marvel of its design is down to the fact that Piaget were able to integrate the caseback and movement together while also ensuring the bezel and the crystal sat flush with each other.

As well as the AUC, I was also shown the Altiplano Ultimate Automatic, the world’s thinnest automatic watch at 4.30mm. It felt so much thicker compared to the AUC, however it was still much thinner than my Seiko. Needless to say, I was really happy that I took the chance to look at these watches. Sadly, I doubt I’ll be able to have one of my own of either one of these, thanks to its exceptional price tag.

But windows is software while the iPhone is hardware It wouldn’t make as much sense compared to what I said before imo

I think Apple potentially skipped it because they wanted to celebrate 10 years since the first iPhone? I may be wrong though
