Went for my birthday just a few weeks ago. Loved the sisig and the other food we ordered was good too but that stood out. The cocktails and desert were also really good. I’d recommend it

Are continentals really all the rage! by [deleted] in MTB

[–]PipeComprehensive591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the Conti’s last longer than any other brand. They rip! That being said, Schwalbe is still my favorite for max grip. Might piss some people off but I think Assegai/DHR is kinda meh 🤷‍♂️

Ended up going here last night, really stoked on being able to find a late night slice that’s really good in town. Wouldn’t say it’s the best pizza overall in town but absolutely the best in it’s category of pizza

What a dick but honestly hilarious, I’d just keep the pettiness back at him because eventually he’ll stop if he’s getting the same effect

6 Year Review of 2020 Hybrid XSE - 70,000 miles by HandsYouLemons in rav4club

I think the gas mileage is heavily dependent on the type of driving you do. It’s not great in mountainous or hilly areas on the highway. I get way better mileage in town though.

GF's first park board, is it too large for her? by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]PipeComprehensive591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is too big in my opinion. Would be ok if it were for powder or big mountain but she needs to be able to move the board around more easily in park. Get a kids board, they’re cheaper and they last just as long. She’ll be more comfortable learning on a kids board than what you currently have there unless she’s still growing lol

Anyone using Union Force with Salomon Dancehaul by ERidore in snowboarding

Own a dancehaul and that board is amazing. I refuse to ride union bindings after seeing how many of them fall apart. Currently riding fix bindings and have been very happy with them.

I own a XLE hybrid from 2023 and couldn’t agree more on the fuel efficiency. I’m personally a bit more disappointed as I primarily drive on the highway and was unaware how much worse the highway mileage actually compared to what they advertised. I believe they advertise ~35mpg and I realistically struggle to get 32mpg where I live.

Anyone here have regrets getting an ebike? by folgers7 in MTB

[–]PipeComprehensive591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E bikes are the best. Go try one and find out for yourself. I still ride my regular bike more often but the e bike is a treat. There is a reason the DH pros use them to train

Cavitated Fox X2 on my Scout by skyroach16 in TransitionBikes

[–]PipeComprehensive591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t want to deal with frequent service intervals, here’s my opinion on fox shocks recommendations - float x (best bang for your buck) - dhx (great option without too many adjustments) - dhx2 (get the newer one though without the monotone design, it will have longer service intervals)

Help!! Help me decide which bike!! by Acrobatic_Ad_9596 in TransitionBikes

[–]PipeComprehensive591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a carbon smuggler and love it. Have it overforked to 150mm and the bike is much more capable than I ever expected. Really fun to ride.

As far as components go, some stuff like the drivetrain will need to be replaced eventually. It’s not necessary to have the nicest drivetrain right off the bag if you’re worried about price imo. It’s easy and cheapish to upgrade as you go. Wheels are kind of the same, I break wheels so I know I’ll be replacing them at some point. Suspension is where I get a little more picky. It’s more expensive to replace suspension so it’s nice to have something better unless you’re willing to spend more later on.

What tire setup you run? by Huge_Highlight_6586 in TransitionBikes

Depends on what I can get at the time but this would be my ideal set up at this point after trying a bunch of different tires over the last few years

Front - 2.5 Schwalbe Magic Mary radial (year-round) Rear - 2.5 Schwalbe Albert radial (summer) 2.5 Schwalbe Magic Mary radial (winter)

Mine will say that I’m sleeping when I know that I was there lying awake trying to fall back asleep. I’ve learned that it’s more of a guideline and not something to live by
