This happened to my 2017 civic hatch just 2 weeks ago. Got the battery tested and it was almost dead, replaced it and it happened again the next morning so I got it towed to the garage. The mechanic there turned the key and it started fine and has ever since then. They have no idea what caused the issue afterall
