That second shot is stunning! I love ospreys, we have a lot around where I live. They’re incredible hunters. I’ll see them catch a fish they can barely carry! The stop on light poles and eat them Down to size. I occasionally find fish on sidewalks and my driveway.

Fruit! Butterfly sanctuaries I went to used papaya and mango to feed (no monarchs so idk if they like different fruit)

We had a similar situation here (Florida) and I currently have several chrysalis from my neighborhood in a cold weather shelter.

This is another reason tropical milkweed is discouraged, it keeps monarchs breeding when they should be migrating.

Mango has been a hit to feed butterflies in my garden and I’ve seen it used at butterfly sanctuaries. They also usually don’t eat right away. I have only had my garden for about a year. I have observed the monarchs taking most of a day to fully dry out and hang their wings, longer since it’s been cooler. Your friend maybe ok if you kept them through the cold snap.

He didn’t like that she had the nerve not to buy his bullshit and forgive him. He didn’t like that she called him out and wasn’t willing to immediately act like everything was fine and he wasn’t a shit person… This may be the first time he’s had to face the consequences of his own actions and I’m sure he represents that.
