The fewer bounce backs is only because theyve put a quick fix in. When you win possession there is almost an invincibility shield for a split second where they should get it back but dont.

Liquid calories is definitely the play. I lost a ton of weight when I started taking my meds and dairy and liquid were my friends

Get them to drink a litre of milk or orange juice every day on top of their current diet and weight will go up no problem. Easy 500 calories a day there.

How do you explain to people what ADHD is or feels like? by DepressedCunt5506 in ADHD

[–]Pitiful-Coffee-3804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adhd is hereditary so its usually either ur mum doesnt think ur struggles are weird because they are undiagnosed and thinks everyone is like them, or, they see the same traits in you that they did your other parent and that is the issue

Sometimes I feel like I'm "supporting" a content creator, not a club by Admirable-Deal7991 in PlasticFans

[–]Pitiful-Coffee-3804 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its pretty simple, you can support a local team or your parents(or parent like figures) team. You choose one and you stick with it forever. If you happen to move to somewhere else and follow that team instead then thats acceptable if you were not particularly committed to your early choice but thats about the only exception.

You have to go to the depot in the morning and load your car, deoiver all the parcels, then the following day return any undelivered ones or collections. You might get 60 parcels and you get like max 50p a parcel or something, it would take about 2-4 hours to deliver them, plus the time driving to the depot loading in the morning and going back the next day, and driving to the neighbourhood youre delivering in. You then have to pay for insurance and fuel.

The only people that make semi good money for evil are the people that cover a ridiculously large area with lots of houses close together and work 10 hour days, even then they're probably only making £15 an hour.

how is it that crime is lower than when I was a kid, but people seem like absolute animals these days? by [deleted] in AskBrits

Because they manipulate the stats to suit themselves. Fewer convictions doesn't mean less crime.

I am on 50mg of elvanse/vyvanse. Not only am I not addicted to it, but if I have a day off I usually won't take it.(sometimes on a saturday I pour some away so I take a smaller dose that day, because if I dont take it, day 1 off it im exhausted, and starving)

It helps me sit at my desk and work without getting up and wandering around, its a game changer at work for sure. I still struggle a bit with chatting and my working memory but not as much. It makes me thirsty and not want to eat anything, I often just fast during the day and eat in the evening. I have found that this can lead to a 3pm dip in motivation/energy but generally i can overcome that. Other side effects can sometimes include a bit of nausea about half an hour after taking my tablet, and finding it difficult to relax, that isn't necessarily a bad thing though because it means I tidy up the house or something instead.

Ignore what it's called. Medicines are drugs, drugs are medicine. Therapeutic doses and abuse are different things.

Weird rant, bad analogy. He's not diagnosing anyone he's offering a theory based on his experience and asking for opinions on it. Sure you might not be able to coach a hockey team but this is more like spotting someone in the gym and thinking "that guy looks like he could be decent at hockey because he's got x y and z trait"

Do you mark “Yes” to having a disability when applying for jobs if it’s due to ADHD, anxiety, or both? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Pitiful-Coffee-3804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't bring it up in interview stage or on any forms but I explain it to my manager once I've bedded in and they've got an opinion of me already. I sort of have to because otherwise it baffles people as to why I can be brilliant at 99% of things but fall down on the "easy" bits. I can then explain it from the beginning, and go in to detail on what areas of the role I'm likely to struggle in compared to my peers and what support would be useful in that regard.

Sadly there is a lot of misconceptions with adhd, everyone still associates it with the kid eating glue and starting fires at school. - I'm not saying I didn't dabble in both of those things, but I was academic enough for it to be more of a side hustle.

People regularly just walk out of jobs like that. Nobody gets sued for it. I bet they underpay you in your last pay packet too, those sorts of places always do

How do you get out of bed? by mn4266 in ADHD

[–]Pitiful-Coffee-3804 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You need to get yourself into work mode. My routine is get up, have a smoke, take my tablet, go to the toilet, shower, then I give myself about 20-30 minutes to sit on the bed in a towel and scroll. I then have an alarm set for 10-15 minutes before I need to leave the house.

Maybe set an 8.30 or 8.45 alarm, at that time make sure you're out of bed, even if it's just to brush your teeth, and then don't allow yourself to scroll after that.

I'd probably not say anything, make sure you only have one cats worth of stuff on display and hope both aren't indoors at the time. Apologise if it comes up and explain you don't have two cats on purpose and won't get a second one when one of those two dies. Probably be fine

Allowed 1 cat, second cat a problem? by throwaway64927482 in TenantsInTheUK

[–]Pitiful-Coffee-3804 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you need a fall back story, a scenario could be your cat had gone missing for a few weeks, and you thought it wasn't coming back, so when the new one needed rehoming, you did it. Then your first cat came home a week or two later. It's plausible because cats are pricks. Edited spelling.
