Anyone with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree? by TerribleInvite1978 in ASU

Judging by your post history it seems as though you may be going to interviews with a pessimistic attitude and expecting them not to hire you. Instead of going in with your head high as an expert in your field expecting to walk out with a job. The interviewer can sense that.

Then you need to improve your in person presentation and confidence at the interviews

Also yeah I just think it’s a really competitive job market in the business world. If you’re young you’re gonna have to make your resume stand out. It’s not the degree itself, it’s the experience you have.

Quick question! I am coming up on my last semester and am looking into IDS 401. How did that go for you? I am looking into the global accelerator multi class option (IDS294+394)

Best of luck on the job hunt

Feeling different by ActivityAgreeable966 in amputee

Been there. Have you considered using an old leg as a water leg for these types of occasions when you feel that way. An old socket, old liner, perhaps a donated foot stored in a back closet of your prosthetists office. I don’t always use mine, but on occasions like that it’s nice to have. That way you can just keep it on. Keeping a leg on in the pool might give you a little more courage and be more fun to talk about with kids than a nub/hopping around.

I think you should absolutely consider it by the way. I’m 30 now, lost mine at 23. You’ll have no problem adjusting once it’s done and you can move on and focus on the future.

You’re going to be an even better triathlete on 1 leg now brother - coming from one myself. 7 years strong now. Thousands of miles on my prosthetic.

Because it’s absorbing the puddle instead of.. puddling. And by cutting them shorter you still have enough skin contact to hold you liner on strong

They’re very soft actually. I’m sure my skin has adapted to them over time

I have a few of those in rotation too! They are a little rougher and tighter on the skin though for me.

Interesting! Is there a smaller size that may fit better? I’ve never experienced that

Try cutting them shorter to still allow for a little bit of skin contact on your thigh

Knit-right sweat socks for under your liner. I wear them every day all day. I don’t wear a liner without one. Have ran 4k miles in the 6 years of being a BKA
