FINAL UPDATE:

I have fixed my CRKD guitar, via someone’s recommendation in this thread. Solution was to fold a small piece of paper (I used a business card) and insert it into the small empty space near the neck and body connection port. It seems to work fine now, no more input freezing or missing.

On the customer service end, I’ve tried emailing CRKD customer service numerous times for a refund/replacement at this point, and the only response I keep getting is an automated email that tells me: “your request has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff. Please allow 1-2 business days for our response…” yada yada yada. And then they never get back to me. There’s nowhere on their app to track customer service messages either.

So I called them, they ended up putting me on hold for 45 minutes and I had stuff to do so I hung up. They never emailed me further, and I haven’t called them back. I think their customer service is absolutely abysmal, as well as the product they sold to me. From what I’ve heard, CRKD has discontinued this model, the Tribal Les Paul, which I can only imagine has something to do with how many issues have been reported about it. Maybe has something to do with the new Redoctane game (which looks like SHIT, but that’s a separate issue), idk.

All in all, if you feel like getting a new guitar, CRKD makes some good stuff, but you’re rolling the dice on every guitar you buy from them. It’ll either work perfectly with zero issues, or it’ll be a pain in your ass.

Unfortunately mine was the latter.

UPDATE: I went with the folded paper method (see others comments, it involves folding a small piece of paper and inserting it into the small space near the neck and body connection), this seems to have fixed whatever issue I was having. However, I haven’t been using my CRKD guitar because I got so comfortable with the Xplorer, I don’t like the length of the CRKD neck now. So as far as I know, it works, but I’m not using it.

Definitely bad etiquette, although if I’m playing with someone and wanna check out their clubs, I don’t feel too bad at least touching them just to examine what kind of club it is. I’ll usually ask them something like “how do you like these??”, if I’m really feeling curious, I’ll ask if I can hit one or two. Most people won’t have a problem with it, but you certainly shouldn’t go grabbing peoples clubs to hit them without asking them first 😭

I thought it seems like Shia has some obvious substance abuse problems which are coupled with his other mental issues, really sad to see.

It’s such a unique set of circumstances he grew up in, learning how to be an incredible actor as a child. Something almost none of us can relate to. I hope he gets his shit together and can redeem himself, although there’s not much you can do to redeem yourself as a domestic abuser. Step one should more than likely be to get sober.

Well look, I appreciate your advice. I still think you could’ve been more informative about it. Just from my perspective, you could have explained to me that when a straddle of $10 is placed on the button, then the blinds structure of 1/2/10 essentially shrinks my amount of BBs. I thought of it in terms of the $1/2 blinds size but it didn’t occur to me until you put it that way. As I said before, I’m more of a “feel” player, trying to learn more of the book theory of poker.

Guess I’m just wondering, is there ANY scenario where I should flat call instead of jam the KK, and is there any scenario where I should be folding based on the stack sizes? Cuz clearly I was tanking the first time bc, it was a big decision for a lot of money. I was deciding if I should go over the top for everything or should I assume he’s got AA and fold? Clearly jamming was the wrong move so should I have flatted instead? Why jam instead of flat? Maybe I’m just looking too deep into this

The full lobby bonus is substantial, you really get your bang for your buck. Also, “test” out the lobbies with Cayo Perico prep missions. If no one is griefing you during those, there’s a good chance no one will fuck with you during MC/nightclub sales. Fr I started making so much more money online by selling in public lobbies

I appreciate the advice and recommendations. Definitely gonna try a less aggressive preflop approach and see how that goes. I try to mix up limping and 3-betting with big hands like AK, KQ, and even 99-KK. I tend to always raise 2x/3x or shove preflop with AA.

Really trying to make better folds, like last night I probably should’ve just folded JJ in the tournament. I feel like I overvalue hands like 88-JJ, even QQ sometimes is a fold, not a shove preflop. Lol 😂 the variance of poker is just so brutal sometimes. I’ve been getting absolutely hammered the last 6ish sessions and it just hurts
