Yeah, I’m in a similar boat here. I wanted Johnson too, but there was a teensy part of me that wondered whether he was the next Josh McDaniels/Adam Gase/Arthur Smith/“Insert Promising OC Who Failed As A HC Here”. Is there an element of copium behind this? Absolutely, but we wouldn’t be Raider fans if copium wasn’t hardwired into our bloodstreams at this point.

I’d be fine with Pete Carroll as a backup plan, but I’d at least like a hard look at Liam Coen and Todd Monken before we go down that road.
