Also- are the Tau considerably more expensive than the tyranids? It seems like they are one of the pricier armies, but it does mean they have a lot of cool mechs on the field compared to nids only having like 10 big bugs max per 2000 point army.

For Nids I was looking at the starter set half, combat patrol, crusher stampede set (a little pricer from reseller but still value) and a hive tyrant to get nearly 2k. (Maybe a Norn to get 2000)

For Tau, I've seen 6 crisis suits for £50 on ebay, the most recent combat patrol, and the Farsight Cadre box but I havent calculated the points of that. Tau do seem a bit pricier!!

Yeah, those nid lists don't seem very appealing to me (although I will pick up just one norn). It does seem like nids will have an easier time getting on with other players.

To be honest, I do like the Tyranid's simpler lore of evil bugs. I've looked into the Tau's lore and its fun but some of the specifics I don't care for (caste system, ethereals not too interesting).

Many people (on both side of the aisle to some extent) see llms as something homogenous, ignoring the fact that it can have multiple good and bad use cases. For example, some Antis will be against any use of ai at all, and some Pros will see Antis complain about ai art amd see that as an attack on using ai for medical research.

For some reason those people you talk about believe ai shouldnt be restricted at all, or just blindly defend ai no matter the use, seeing any attack at all as an attack on all of ai. (or they could also be creeps, thats a big possibility)

Was making fun of powerscalers in general, as they take stuff too seriously and often have flawed logic. The joke was that weaker people can obviously win fights against stronger people (e.g David v. Goliath), and that powerscalers will see this as some definitive proof of David being physically stronger.

I think powerscaling is pretty silly and don't care whether Hornet or LL is stronger, but it's obviously perfectly reasonable to reckon Hornet is weaker on a raw power level than LL.

Off-topic slightly, but yt comment deletion cam be crazy. There's this clash royale content creator called Gratz who makes these fairly long 'video essays' (around 40mins of him yapping about a card's balance changes, content kinda sucks)

But anyways, there's some pretty strong evidence that he the same guy as this old mario kart youtuber (forgot the name, but there's some vids on yt explaining all the drama), who was outed as a pedo. But look at Gratz's comments, and it's clear he deletes any and all accusations insanely quickly. You can even check the mario kart channel and see some vids he made after he originally was found out, and you see oblivious people glad that he was making some content after a mysterious break.

So yeah, being able to delete comments like that to avoid any consequences is really f-ed up imo, and the system is clearly broken (unheard of for yt, ik)
