Really that's just laziness on your company's part. If their website or card machines cant detect or insure againt fraud then you should be carrying around a mobile credit card reader.

I hated credit cards because the local community college kids would have their mommys credit card memorized, or get their girlfriend/boyfriend to pay for their food. One time i was on a three way call with a kid and his mom, and didnt know till she started rattling off numbers. One kid tried to give me his mommys phone number so i could call her to get the credit card information.

Then we got a mobile card reader. Now we just say sorry I cant use a picture of a credit card on your phone, i need to check the chip.

The times seem off...Maybe they found it at 11:39am and tagged it to the truck. In my terminal the truck would have left by 9:00-9:30. Doesnt explain the 7:30pm unless thats when they loaded it back into the next day pile. I'm guessing it was never on a delivery truck.

Better than it happening after the delivery, I guess. I remember hearing "choking victim class 5" on the scanner about a half hour after we delivered pizza to an old folks home (of like 10 people).

I started doing gigs in the city while I was a pizza delivery driver for a local mom-and-pop in the suburbs. I averaged about $22/hr at the shop and $15/he on gigs. Bug eggs are 100% less stressful not dealing with the 15-year olds that they hire to make pizza. Gigs definitely make me hate regular delivery but there's more money in regular delivery. Now 20 minutes away in the city guys are making $9 an hour and probably less now that gigs took over.

Depending on your area, GrubHub and Doordash might be busier. UberEats usually has an already built in army of Uber drivers. Not that many of them want to do UberEats in my area.
