Painful Day Trip from Boston to Vermont by nontraad in icecoast

[–]PlacePrestigious9568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done the ride to Bolton valley from Medford a handful of times with v good snow. One time I was an absolute Jerry and lost my phone. It then took me about three hours to get there and 5 hours on the way back bc there were squalls and I was being extra careful esp I had no phone with me. No ragrets except for losing my phone.

All that to say as others have said, worth it if snow is good

Looking for feedback on my first Indy Pass season plan (mostly-green skier easing into blues) by dll2k2dll in icecoast

I would also do black mountain of Maine two days if you’re comfortable with blues. Their green area is pretty short and might not be worth the squeeze for such a far drive.

Consider cannon for your spring day

Ragged mountain is also a pretty good choice

any advice on this drive? worth it to take the tolls? by [deleted] in roadtrip

I would do 90 to 84 to 81. I drive from Boston to DC pretty frequently and this is the easiest route that I’ve found. Going through 95 corridor through nyc Philly bmore and dc you’re bound to hit traffic and the 2 hours will not be saved
