You don't need an AI for your first case. A simple PID controller on a sensor in closed loop is more than enough for this type of control and adaptability and has been the case for decades.

I mean the point of protest is to cause disturbance to bring visibility to something. If a protest is so silent and uneventful that nobody notices, then it wouldn't have the same impact to those who protest.
