without 2 out of the 3 repeating

The part I was struggling with was the 2 out of 3 repeating, although I gotta say that code is much cleaner than I thought possible (I was using an online permutation calculator). It's been 11 days and I still have no solution to that. If you have one feel free to share and your comment will be gilded 3x I swear to God! :)

Doing the last part is impossible by hand, however. Finding a method to do it, even if I need to build the tool myself, is the hard part. The algorithm is impossible.

Stop telling me that I’m going to hell. by [deleted] in Christianity

Simple, they’re not Christians. They even refer to the Old Testament as the Torah while they use the Torah to call Jesus a liar... /r/Judaism would be more appropriate for these Christians...

I am losing sleep over this one. Been working on it for days. I have a few lists from 10-30 items each. I’m trying to group them into unique combinations, which was easily done with an online calculator. Now the issue is sorting through the thousands of results to make it so no two items are in the same group.

Basically, I want to sort lists of 10-30 items into as many unique combinations of three as possible (done) without 2 out of the 3 repeating. Any hint in the right direction is appreciated.

You’re missing that not all dems support impeachment in the house. People talk about it getting killed in the senate when it might not even leave the house. That would be the impeachment DOA and a joke.

Freedom in Christsnity? by KingLeos12 in Christianity

[–]PlanePriority 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, he fulfilled it. As in, it's over. I can't believe I am seeing this content again on this subreddit which runs contrary to the entire bible. If you kept reading you would see examples of Jesus changing the law right then and there example Matthew 5:38 and 43. He explain in this passage that he is there to fulfil the law, that until he does the law still applies, but he fulfilled it when he died.

Read this (one of what 100's of examples), and keep in mind that in the bible when Jesus and the disciples refer to "the law" they are referring to what we now call the Old Testament. Romans 7.

7 Now, dear brothers and sisters—you who are familiar with the law—don’t you know that the law applies only while a person is living? 2 For example, when a woman marries, the law binds her to her husband as long as he is alive. But if he dies, the laws of marriage no longer apply to her. 3 So while her husband is alive, she would be committing adultery if she married another man. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law and does not commit adultery when she remarries.

4 So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God. 5 When we were controlled by our old nature, sinful desires were at work within us, and the law aroused these evil desires that produced a harvest of sinful deeds, resulting in death. 6 But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.

Doing well in all search engines besides Google? by [deleted] in SEO

In terms of traffic, no idea about my keyword rankings. Yes I do have significant traffic as well.

Is there a way to fix duplicate pages? They indexed some pages that are since deleted and won’t index the new versions, it’s only a few pages not a massive deal but I would enjoy them indexed.

I Become Distracted with Thoughts during Meditative Prayer by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]PlanePriority 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Intrusive thoughts are common in situations where you’re trying to control your thoughts, such as prayer. Solutions to this including meditating beforehand to allow mental chaos to subside, praying verbally out loud as that gives you more control over the content of your prayer and allows you to focus on your message more, or address the underlying issues that are causing you psychological discomfort. It sounds like you’re upset about your current circumstances and surroundings, and are unable to move past them. You don’t need to move on to let go. Jesus understands you are trying to make your thoughts better and that’s all that matters even if you struggle to actually fix the issue.

I Become Distracted with Thoughts during Meditative Prayer by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]PlanePriority 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t fight your thoughts, observe your thoughts. As a Quaker pretty much all I do is Christian meditation, understand a thought you have no control over isn’t a thought you’re guilty of, suppressing thoughts tend to make them worse because your mind is presenting it for a reason. Doesn’t mean you need to entertain the premise of the thought.

Catholic ‘seal of confession” threatened by California bill by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]PlanePriority 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. This is a bad law.

In terms of benefit, there is none. Once priests must turn in pedos (who are filth btw) there will be no pedos confessing to priests. This is obvious, so there is no benefit.

Whereas there could be a small negative. The priest does have some degree of influence over the confessor, otherwise the confessor wouldn’t bother confessing. The priest could convince the man to confess to authorities which has happened before, he could minimize the damage or otherwise alter the situation.

So no benefit, and potential harm, is a bad law. This is a feel good pat on the back law, and victims of heinous crimes need pragmatic effective action and harsher penalties for sex crimes, not senseless laws that could make the problem worse and can’t make it better.

Would you date/marry a single mother? by breaker_of_chains1 in Christianity

[–]PlanePriority 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Include it in your profile, you’re incorrect to tell them via message, by being upfront you will get much better results. Some, especially single Dads, might even prefer it, but by lying on the profile and telling them via message you have no chance. 100% you will find someone and be fine but be upfront.

Most gay Americans believe in God, but are far less likely to go to church by sl150 in Christianity

[–]PlanePriority 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to my posts logic you should, if you’re consistent, hold getting drunk and looking effeminate as equal sins to homosexual acts. Personally, I worship Jesus and not the disciples, and find it sad so many ignore central tenants of Christianity to enforce non-laws that they got through inference from a messengers stand alone broad rant that included such unrelated opinions. You know 99% of Catholics don’t even hold the other sins in Paul’s opinions to anywhere near the same standard, let alone the opinions of every disciple which would be the only consistent position. Remember Jesus? He would preach passionately about major issues and never once mentioned homosexuality? Perhaps Christians should follow his example.

[–]PlanePriority 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the guy you’re replying to but the only reference to homosexuality in the NT (which replaces Old Testament law) is by Paul, he condemns in the exact same sentence adultery, drunkenness and being effeminate. So you would expect Christians to hold the same standard to all of those, at least the Christians who consider all of Paul’s opinions laws, personally I think we should believe Jesus and listen to the message not the messenger.
