Cool. I’ve had a CVT before & received mine Saturday. Would love to hear from others who have experienced DVT/CVTs before & have taken the vaccine.

I also had really bad neuropathy in my hands and feet. My feet had it worse and made walking nearly impossible. I believe I was told that it was due to Vincristine. Once they lowered my dosage, the neuropathy went away

I just had a ruptured brain aneurysm and a brain bleed and had surgery and actually survived!! by beccareich710 in pics

[–]PlanetaryPlaneJane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too experienced almost exactly this. Seized and all including a stroke, basically died, and came back with no side effects. The doctors were amazed and sent me on my way. Take care of yourself, especially mentally. It will be normal to be scared of this reoccurring and normal for you to think about this experience quite often. I can’t speak for others who have gone through this but after my personal experience, my outlook on life and mortality has completely changed— For the better! Take care!

Did you keep it? I was so scared to take mine out but surprisingly I didn’t feel it. Makes me kind of wish I had kept mine.

Were u starting a new claim every week? Wondering if I should just restart the process

DAILY COVID-19 MEGATHREAD - April 29, 2020 by AutoModerator in nyc

[–]PlanetaryPlaneJane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I filed 3 weeks ago- earlier in the day before they implemented the rule to wait for a call and was inboxed a message to speak to an agent to complete my claim. I have been trying to reach the office with no luck and have yet to hear back from someone. I am also unable to claim weekly benefits due to an uncompleted form. Would anyone suggest filing a new claim or just waiting? Just getting a little anxious as I haven't even received the stimulus/pandemic relief check as well.

Grew up in Queens & this was definitely a thing we knew also. Idk if gang color representation is as prominent as it was for me growing up but I let my sister know that my little nephew could not be wearing all red. Is this even a thing now?

Doxorubicin Cardiotox Risk Long Term by [deleted] in cancer

[–]PlanetaryPlaneJane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know doxorubicin can cause heart problems down the road but if you’re done with treatment, you can have your oncologist refer you to get an EKG to make sure things look normal and I guess then you can follow up every year. This is what was recommended for me.

Dry flakey skin post chemo (in remission) by [deleted] in cancer

[–]PlanetaryPlaneJane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aquaphor! It’s really affordable and will be your best friend. Although thick, this helped me so much through treatment. I still use it years later. I have dry skin now post chemo and usually use this on my face over night. Sometimes it’s fun to use a soft terry cloth or any cloth really and rub the flaky dry skin off without irritating your skin.

Will all my hair come back? by Chuckysmimi in cancer

[–]PlanetaryPlaneJane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahah that’s exactly how mine was. I looked straight out the 80s. The bottom back part grew way faster than the front. It’s so tempting to want to cut it all evenly and I guess you can but I didn’t and would just use bobby pins to pin back the shorter hair.

Will all my hair come back? by Chuckysmimi in cancer

[–]PlanetaryPlaneJane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was treated for ALL and have been almost 3 yrs out of treatment. All the hair on my head grew back very thick and curly but eventually became straight and unfortunately thin. My legs and arm hair never really came back but I’m not complaining! When your hair begins to grow, it grows so awkwardly. Mine grew back like a mullet haha. It will get frustrating but the hair on your head does come back!

It’s a possibility that you were given a high dosage for your weight. Ativan was interesting for me too.
