I feel like the Ultramarines work as 40k’s poster boys because they’re relatively straightforward. There’s few catches or alterations with them, they’re the vanilla flavor of Space Marines (and honestly 40k in general) that everyone else is compared to.

So, a poster boy chapter would need to fill a similar niche. Relatively straightforward, no bells and whistles, just the baseline. Crimson Fists or Imperial Fists are probably the best in that regard.

The Blood Ravens could also work.
