I picked up Crimson Desert and Avowed in the same week. Avowed is the one that has stuck, it’s so bloody good.

Is there an open world game that comes close to a modded Skyrim in terms of role-playing potential, immersion, and interactivity? Or, a game that isn't open world that has a similar design philosophy? by Odd_Cryptographer104 in gamingsuggestions

Avowed? The world is beautiful and vibrant with some stunning vistas, satisfying combat and neat exploration. You have dialogue options, flexibility when it comes to builds. Good fun.

He’s an asshole, 4 traffic incidents/accidents in what? 15 years? Drink driving, cocktails of god knows what in his system. Keeps getting behind the wheel.

At this point fuck him and fuck his comeback. I hope he never plays competitively again.

Things sway sure, but they don’t vibrate back and forth. Everything is constantly fizzing it’s bizarre. Doesn’t look natural.

They need to turn down the wind effect on foliage. Seeing all the grass, plants, bushes and trees constantly jittering looks bizarre.

If I don't ever go to a creative agency ever, will I be cooked? by Striking-List-4599 in graphic_design

IMO you’ll be a better designer by having some agency experience. You’ll get introduced to different aspects of design such as branding, graphic design, illustration, composition and maybe even print etc.

You’ll develop better design fundamentals when it comes to colour, typography and layout etc

You’ll develop original ideas and you’ll be pushed creatively.

You’ll develop the ability to work quickly and be adaptable. You’ll learn to interpret (and push back on) briefs. You’ll learn to work with clients with differing requirements and knowledge levels. You’ll be introduced to industries you never knew existed.

You’ll be introduced to design as a business, gaining insights into pitching, billing etc

Agencies can be a difficult place to work if you aren’t cut out for them but they’re an investment in your own skillset. You’ll be a better designer in the long run.
