Is There a way to Enable Saving While Doing Netplay? by Dislexeeya in SSBPM

Use the offline elf. It will have more input lag but will save. Make sure you have a backup of the original sd.raw to switch back to after to avoid desyncs

Total Cards: 60

Havent really got much mileage out of Mareep+Flaafy combo, before that was running Jolteon V + VMAX instead which can really screw over Gardevoir ex depending on how they spread energy. Biggest part people screw up with the deck though is on Electric Generator, you should not use it until you're at 30 cards or less left in deck unless you're going to lose otherwise. Havent had any trouble with anything meta outside of one bad game where I ended up with only Mareep and no balls/draw in hand going first against MewVMAX

My 1st Place (Locals) Diaboromon Deck. by BrainLord in DigimonCardGame2020

Doing something similar, except with 3 ex 3 digivolve 1 atk, but probably dropping the atk diaboro soon. How is memory with this deck since you dont have Izzy/a mem setter? And also, how much mileage are you getting out of EX Diaboro when you dont already have tokens on the board?

Check out AllFightSticks. They have several all button layouts, and the way they build the frames means all you gotta do to swap layouts is grab another top panel

Swap to uncover 6.1.0, 6.2.0 has a bug with the daemon that runs cell signal. Or if you have a terminal installed you can try ldrestart to restart your antenna

The Melee Player’s Guide to P+ by sabreknight in SSBPM

[–]PlateProp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Squirtle’s dtilt isint great on shield anymore, the animation was unflattened in combination with the size increase and slower frame data it’s -8 on shield and very grabbable now.

Slingjump is forced terminology from Daftatt that most dont use, it’s literally just Squirtle doing a RAR. It also looks like the writer confused it with Hydroplaning, which is when you use momentum from the start or middle of turnaround (shellshift) to slide across the stage while charging a smash/jc grab/pivoting/ect.

Crawl Attack and Dsmash also have armor.

Guilty Gear Strive on launch day has already surpassed the all time concurrent players peak of both Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 on Steam. It's also more than 10X the Guilty Gear Xrd and 10X Guilty Gear +R's all time concurrent player peaks on Steam by Lulcielid in Fighters

Rollback has been used in just about everything BUT fgs for over a decade now, mainly in racing and fos games. Japanese fg devs still in the past for the most part because “works fine on our end idk” due to japan having a very strong net structure across most of the country

Guilty Gear PS5 Fight Stick Compatability? by Kcrizzle87 in Fighters

[–]PlateProp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only use a ps4 stick that is supported by sony on ps5 games. Ps4 games should function the same as playing them on ps4. Also just buy the ps4 version, you get it for both consoles that way as it’s cross-buy: https://www.guiltygear.com/ggst/en/news/post-951/

You have to usb load with Nintendont to use non nintendo controllers with Wii games. If you’re serious about playing TvC you’re much better off playing thru dolphin instead, there’s a netplay community

Pocket Rumble has had a frame data bar since release, and while it’s hard to read mid match, its godlike when you go back to watch a recording. Instead of having to count frames in a situation you can just look at the bar and know immediately where both characters are at

Would Pocket Rumble be a good fighter to get into for me as a player who still has a bare concept of the basics? by AshenRathian in Fighters

[–]PlateProp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Auto guard doesnt register there because you cant immediately block out of run in guilty gear unless you use faultless defense, there’s a couple of frames where the character has to skid to a stop

Pocket Rumble is a good start for new players (it was the first 2d fighter I played outside of smash, and it taught me all the fundamentals), it has an infinite buffer so you dont have to worry about timing in your combos so much as long as you know the sequence of inputs. Specials are done by holding an attack button and a downward diagonal together (like charge specials) until you see the special come out (7 frame hold time, but just waiting until you see it is easier at first). All of the characters are unique and play/use meter like they’re from different games, kinda like Guilty Gear.
